Those lagos beaches are a huge opportunity for Nigerian government create lots of job opportunities for its people, get the right investors even if it is international investors, plant trees and other vegetation and create world class resorts and hotels that will attract international tourists and this will create job opportunities and diversify revenue base for government. The garbage and filth, the lack of sanitation must surely affect the health and safety of the people.
@youme1414
@youme1414 2 жыл бұрын
The waste management system is close to zero. The people are not disciplined so they litter places anyhow, the unattended areas are mostly informal markets, remote parts of the city, etc are contributing to the filth. It is not a big task to fix but the leadership is always the problem. You don't expect people to behave right if you don't enforce the rules.

Amazing trip, I hung on so I could see Lagos in daylight. Lot of construction, tall buildings that seemed empty, no parking-unless it’s underground. I kept watching the location of the sun, though it was hazy. People walking, long distances, mostly men. I actually saw two young couples holding hands. Amazing volume of nice cars , and with no damage considering the lack of courtesy.
