As a smoke main , he’s very predictable. Even if you random And wild. Especially High level. Reason why no smoke mains never won a major. Wishing for daddy G and just nasty in evo.

I agree I think the second you get to high level he’s one of the worst characters I’ve played you have to work so hard to get anything going because of all the upblock opportunities

For smoke mains, when doing 32 in your combos you don’t gotta dash to get the second one off. I think it’s actually easier (atleast it is for me) to do it without dashing on the 2nd and you can still get off the rest of the string.

The thing is, it gets a lil finicky if you hit both kicks off the second 32. Bc the most common next combo is f12 grab and the second kick of the second 32 could make the gravity heavier and the timing a lil weirder

I now see how Goku feels whenever he uses ultra instinct. It drains his stamina, just as my stamina is drained by doing back to back vapor cancels with Smoke...

I agree let's be honest the higher up in Kombat league you go the harder it gets to use smoke he gets punished for almost everything he tries to do and I think the smoke bomb should have a mid and far teleport so it's not so easily punished

If you can master the cancel vape with Smoke, he's a serious problem. The cancel vape is hard to master.

I have a decent smoke, nothing like JustNasty or Daddy G but I sometimes confused ppl with invisibility/pressure… Smoke is not bad but at the same time not good… the problem with smoke is that he has way too many gaps and easily punished… he definitely needs a buff.. very good fighters in Kombat League fucks up my smoke because they know his every move and they not dumb lol

I'm a Smoke main. I love the character and love playing him. However, he is definitely a weak character if you're playing anyone beyond beginner level. All of his strings have armorable gaps. His frames are terrible, considering he's designed to be a rush-down mixup character. He and Li Mei should have frames comparable to Johnny Cage imo. Also remove the gaps from his fwd 3 2, and fwd 1 2 strings.

@@combosensei I could see that having potential for creative mixups that aren't currently possible. I know that it's unlikely to be added. However, I think it would be cool if they added a grenade special move for combo extensions. He has a grenade that he uses in one of his fatalities. It would fit the character and add depth to his moveset.

Smoke is the Noob killer. Against anyone high tier level he's one of the worst in the game Imo the worst, with all the upblocks/gaps. Ninjakilla said it himself.
