I just love getting a call from police, and they say "We need a flatbed." No you don't.. You really don't... In my area at least, police don't know anything about towing, but they still request trucks like they're our own dispatch. But then they don't specify what's going on. I had one where they said "Minor damage, collision, need flatbed." I show up, and the thing is down a six foot embankment, on a fence, in a field. I absolutely would have preferred my primary wheel lift for that job, rather than a flatbed. But the job got done at least. So that's not too bad.

Yeah most cops don’t fully understand how towing works or what incidents require one truck or another. But they mean well.

33:29 I know the fear of this type of scenario. I've been struck in the jaw by a Highlift jack. It was in the downward mode and the jack handle slipped out of my hand. That handle came back up like Mike Tyson. Lol OOOUUUCH

Glad you were able to get a Guardian Angel! Hope you enjoy it!! Rollbacks aren’t always the best for every situation, but an experienced operator can do most anything with one. Not many situations I’ve come across that I couldn’t handle.
