Oppenheimer is way beyond box office collection . It's truly pure cinema. It doesn't matter if Barbie beats it. Oppenheimer is going to be remembered for many years to come and will become a cult classic. I am also really happy for Barbie for it's collection. I chose Christopher Nolan instead of tom cruise. Oppenheimer was never made to beat Barbie in box office race. The people are crazy comparing these 2 movies, they both have entirely different genres, certificate and audience. A neutral family audience doesn't watch R rated movies that too of 3hrs duration so it was pretty comon that neutral audience will prefer Barbie and hardcore movie lover will go after Oppenheimer. Now both are doing great, Oppenheimer has broken previous records of every biopic movies whereas Barbie numbers are a big relief for hollywood after a disastrous summer. So it's a win win situation for both of the movies and hollywo summer.

I watched Oppenheimer twice once in dubbed and in a original but the level of dialogue and plot framing by nolan is perfect i remember when i was a teen physics enthusiat and read about neil bohr my prof told whole history linkages about atomic bomb like manhattan project and william cleir gofting villa really a pictorial representation at it peak and i also watched barbie just bcoz my lil sister wanted and my parents went to see mission impossible and yeah i found it a lot fanatical 😂 i remembered as a child used to take dolls of my friend for my experiment once when i burned a whole face of that doll 😅 really a good film for child and people who really played with them in childhood everyone should respect each others choice like my connection with stan lee's creation marvel even today i buy action figures and toys and comics of iron man and hulk especially when i travel to honkong. Oppenheimer is a masterpiece, it's just that it's target audience is not kids, so no way arguing with barbie fans that which is better, it's just that both have different target audiences, kids to teenagers would like barbie more, adults would like Oppenheimer more. This situation is same as big 3 in anime, where nowadays the trend is going that "Bleach is underrated", even if it is, it is same as Oppenheimer, "The target audience is different", as naruto and one piece is all about never giving up and going forward towards your dreams, while maintaining a calm & playful vibe, in contrast to bleach where it's audience is mainly adults or teenagers who are becoming adults where the plot majorly revolves around "accepting oneself and not undermining self potential", which is a tendency of humans to undermine themselves because of matrix maybe(is it controversial mentioning matrix?), so it's no use arguing that naruto is best or bleach is best or OP is best, all are masterpieces, it's just that as you are a teenager you would be more attracted to Luffy and naruto, whilst an adult may feel more relatable towards Ichigo as it revolve around accepting your inner person! Oppenheimer was a very good movie... The close ups were devastating and the trinity test was the best we've seen of Nolan after the Dunkirk scene. It was never about the bomb and that's what I liked about the movie. We never see the bomb go off... We see the man and how he becomes a monster along with all the monsters tempting him and how he resurrects himself but finds out that the world is impending doom. It's about a man's creation and how he has to live with it, however abominable may it be. Personally a beautiful and solid 7/10. My 4th favourite of Nolan.

Barbie will collect more than Indian cinemas top 3 highest grossers at the end of its run 😢 , yes there's ticket price difference and global release restrictions as well but we are capable of making movies that can collect 5000 cr , for example kgf 2 had footfalls of 2.5cr and collected around 440cr nett in Hindi alone, now imagine if 10% of our population (15cr ) watched a movie in theaters (Hindi alone) that brings collection to around 1700cr South will probably add another 700 cr all languages included , if the film is excellent, that's 2400cr net, gross will be over 3000cr from India alone, add another 1000cr from overseas markets , that's 4000cr which is something we should be aming at, at the end the aim should be to create something that maximizes footfalls, if sholey can do 15cr footfalls in 1975 with a population of around 80cr than surely now 15cr is possible when most of our population is youth and working class .
