0:11 wowza. That’s a splat. Also My favourite Kameo to use is Frost because of the ice bomb frame trap. I learned that from watching you. I might try experimenting with it and use the bone cage to keep them there.

@@combosensei Kung lao might have a boring gameplay as people say, but it would really help me since i just got Mortle Kombat 1 like 4 days ago. And people are making 500 damage combos more compare to Mk11 and Injustice 2. And Kung lao losing his teleport and half of his iconic moves only gets me to 28% damage combo from my ass chararter.

I hate videos like this… Anyone can make a video getting combos off with any character. By that logic, all characters are top tier. Quan Chi is bottom because he lacks in every category you judge a MK1 character by outside of zoning. But since half the cast can teleport or close gaps fast, zoning isn’t enough. Let’s please be real…

He lacks a normal down one… he’s the only character that can put you in setups that you can only teleport out of and fyi he was one of 2 characters that was picked in the biggest tournament so far IN top 8 only him and kitana were picked outside of peacemaker and Johnny

Incorrect. What you were forgetting is that Quan Chi has tools and setups that other characters don't have. Throw out one armor portal and all of his weaknesses are gone for about 15 seconds if it's enhanced. Not to mention he has an amplified portal that forces you away from him which also negates his weakness. Also has a blockable cage setups. Amazing projectiles.

@@mattjustice9372 Again… the arguments made for Quan Chi by people are universal arguments that can be made for everyone. Every character has stuff other characters don’t have… Thats what makes different characters. Every character makes it in the top 10 occasionally. But we all know the characters constantly in top 10. Take out your arguments that every character has, add in the meta (like pokes, frames, combo holes), and no one can honestly say Quan is good.

@@combosensei He lacks a normal down one, he lacks a normal standing 1 (8 frames), his teleport doesn’t track normally (all you have to do is walk forward), his standing 4/ just walk forward, ALL his strings have gaps, his damage without Kameo is whack, his best pop up is 2 bars… like why are we pretending so hard. I like Quan Chi… He’s one of my mains. But acting like he’s good cuz of a few portals? I’d trade them all in for a 7 frame down 1.
