There's two types of scav runs, ones like these or the ones where the entire map is already looted and you just run around for 20 minutes looking for anything valuable

You're forgetting the one where you get blasted by jumpy player scavs before you even have a chance to loot. Happens to me 50/50 regardless even if I use proxy chat.

Your also forgetting the ones where u do find something good but your toxic ass teammate saw it or just a player scav and they shoot you. Because the scav rep system is really really good 0.1 rep for 1 player scav. ​@@devious00

@@devious00i’ve only been killed by a jumpy scav like 3-4 times, and i have hundreds of scav raids. Use your voice line to prove you’re a scav, rather than prox l. You could be lying. and try not to peek close angles with lights or lasers as it makes you look more like a player. also take off things players wear, momex with glasses, balaclavas etc

My theory as to why PMCs feel easier to kill when you are on a pscav is a combination of two factors. Firstly, the player has likely already looted and potentially has a quest item or two. This will make the average player nervous and more likely to mess up. Secondly, they may not recognize its a pscav, giving it the same treatment as they would an ai scav.

Or they are chewed up from a fight, me and a homi literally wiped 3 teams 7 pmc’s in one area and never even got time to heal before we were pushed by multiple player scavs 8 minutes into the raid it’s utterly dumb, completely defeats the point of a “scav”

Or maybe they should add the PMC karma hit for killing own faction PMCs they promised 6 years ago, then instead of kill on sight you have to PID PMCs and cooperate with ownfaction to fight the Pscav storm.

I agree streets is loaded with loot but as a scav I played at 45 fps looting that map without issue when I had my old cpu so unless you cannot even load into the map its a scav just lurk/loot and leave

The causal player base likes scavs there are a few but most people that I know like to scav, sometimes you don’t feel like being on edge for 50 minutes, sometimes you crave the adrenaline rush, it’s random for me. Sometimes I’m in the mood to go pmc and just get rid of some gear or just play. Sometimes I want to chill watch some KZbin while making easy money, it is too easy I admit that but definitely shouldn’t be removed, I think 6.0 should be harder to hit and give better rewards In the form of the fence shop or maybe better btr space(than now) to encourage pmcing, or allow people a drop box at their extract, or like how on pmc already somewhat cooperate with scavs for scav case, allow a paid service where you can leave found in raid gear. Encourages staying in map longer, and can push for more likely pvp too.

Tin hat theory. Scavs armor are more effective and pmc armor will sometimes not work at all. Or pmcs may get triple tapped in vital areas from one shot vs scavs never really being penetrated.

The only places you should check when on Scav is Chek 15, Concordia and Post Office. Post has a ton of green bats and valuables that are sorta hidden

The random health status that was promised needs to be implemented. Water should be a 1-100 rolled like a dice, same with energy. 20% chance of broken arm with no splint. 25% change of a body part begins at 50% and no hp meds on spawn. Implement those or up the cooldown to 1-2 hour flat from after extract/death and it solves “a lot” of this crap.
