E.St louis coach haven't learned any from 2 years ago. If you playing a triple option team why would you put three down lineman up front. He should've had for or five lineman up front and make Cary Grove beat you with the passing game. Same story from 2 years ago if you don't learn the first time you lr bound to repeat it. If E.St louis dont change their game plan if theyake it back to state against a triple option team they lose every time. Congrats to Cary Grove on another state championship.. Great game by both teams..

Pretty much the same story as last time. Less talented team, overall for sure, but better coached and more disciplined. Still very exciting to watch.

Yup. CG took more time off the clock this time though. Much bigger play chunks the last time around. When you get 3-4 yards a crack, it’s pretty deflating. Battle going down didn’t help either, but I could watch these two play every year & be entertained. I love the contrasting styles

It's obvious that we we rob with the help of the refs as u stated same results as last time. All black school against all white school and zebra stripes. Esl don't stand a chance in a close game the odds are stack against us. I don't know what you were watching but we will petition Ihsa ... East st louis shouldn't be apart of Illinois anyway. It's shame how yall come together to form a plan to plot on kids down fall. Just to educate you we have over 20 power 5 kids on the team. Esl send more kids off to college in the state of Illinois on academic and sports scholarships. Just because you loose a game doesn't mean u loose in life... how many of carry grove kids is on supplements... yeah I wait.

Good game but never out coached. Cary kids are great kids, however does not take much talent or coaching to play that kind of offense. Takes repetition. That's why you see it played by only certain teams. What I will say is, it's like working on a car with a distributor cap, you just don't see it anymore. We will be back next year and if it continues the same path, you guys will not.

We the only team that had to play the refs... It's obvious u not paying attention to official calling of the game. All black team and staff up again all white school and zebra stripes this was a reoccurring game. Not to take away from Carry Grove the were good but they have the refs help and all white programs will get that up north and we Esl is from the southern part of Illinois. Ihsa should be investigated an put on notice this every year for us. So it's obvious that u don't pay attention my guy these are kids and they were rob by the refs and u know it.
