I have watched Van's progress from day 1. But most people don't know how this started, IMO. Van was a group of channels at the time we're doing music reactions, mainly hip hop. And Van is part of a group of 15-20 reactors, mainly black, who were reviewing Tom Mac Donald. I became aware of Tom but accident about 1 year before. They all started going through his catalog. In the beginning, many didn't agree with some of what Tom talked about. Just so you know, though he is very diverse, Tom is known for his political/social commentary rap. His first big song at age 28 was DEAR RAPPERS. If you listen to that you will get a small flavor of Tom. But in 2021, 10 days after Jan 6th, after Trump was removed off Facebook on the 7th, Tom released FAKE WOKE, which was at the height of woke, censorship and cancel culture. These reactors, even though they did not agree with everything Tom said in his songs, they were open minded and continued to play his songs. Tom's music starts hard conversations on pressing political and social issues, coming from a common sense point of view. Overtime, Van and these other reactors started doing their own research. All were either nonpolitical or didn't think much of Trump. Of these 15-20, each one discontinued doing music reactions and started doing content on political and current news issues, including pro Trump news. Do you understand how rare that is. And Tom released another song a week after FAKE WOKE, called. CANCELLED, a lyrical masterpiece, making all his haters and opponents, in a time when many Americans were holding their tongues out of fear of getting cancelled, know that they couldn't cancel him. Tom is totally independent, writes his own beats, builds his own sets with his girlfriend Nova, who shoots all his vids and edits them, and they promote, create and ship all their own merch. Tom followers are called the HOG, or Hang Over Gang. Tom, though he looks wild, is a Canadian from Edmonton, but has Midwest values. I am 64 years old, am aware of some of rap, but was never a follower till I checked out Tom. 2 other songs of his I would recommend to better understand him are THE SYSTEM and BRAINWASHED. You will not be disappointed.

I've been worried about how our Country has been leading us in a dangerous direction and I promise you I'm not gonna be that guy that can't do anything but give his life trying to save his loved ones because of a flawed law that punishes you forever to be able to protect yourself or your loved ones. And don't give me the you shouldn't of broke the law, I shouldn't of but only One Man walked this Earth Perfect and that was Jesus Christ. You get all the rest of your rights back but the second amendment, and I get that ppl re offend and that my situation is the minority but it doesn't matter they are going to get their gun no matter what so why does it matter? Trust me the couple years that some ppl know they could end up getting for getting caught with a gun, is that more of a risk of any situation where some maniac comes into your world with a gun and you don't? Nope God wants us to survive and protect the people we love and not bow down to evil if that situation presents itself.
