Aussie - A large slab red gum table sold in melbourne for over $8,500 hand made by local country lads 1990s they also recycled old red gum timber from railway bridges made in late 1800's red gum one the best timbers goes hard as if cured in fire oven . iron bark tree wood goes like steel after a bush fire

Try to clean the leather stuff with TSP ( Tri Sodium Phosphate). Dampen a cloth. Don't saturate it to the point of dripping.
