In this video I grab my village into assisting with what I thought would be a juicy raid. The reason I thought it was going to be juicy was because they KEPT taking heli uncontested. What was meant to be an offline raid, quickly turned into an online raid and they managed to secure all their good loot...Little did they know that I was lying in wait. They got cocky and thought that they had survived.

Moving loot, repairing, sealing, even shopfronting is fine in an online raid defense, it's all part of the fun. Just never despawn and if you lose, take it with good grace. I've had some of my best game interactions after a raid, both raiding and being raided.

I have no problem with this, but if you are are a zerg or clan and you are raiding a solo/duo/trio/significantlysmallergroup then I have no qualms about despawning. There's nothing fun about being rocketed by 3 people at once while 2 of them sit ready with heavy sets and AKs/M2s scanning the area for threats and they have a guy with an L9 roofcamping you in their raid tower to pick anyone off. All this while you are a small 3-man with not much. If you don't even get a fighting chance and all you can do is get killed with not skill, but overwhelming force then where is the fun? There is none and for that scenario I don't blame them for despawning.

Despawning if a negative action. You deny the enemy and yourself. Better to try and smuggle a little away or restart somewhere else and raid them back to get loot back again.

Props to them for moving instead of despawning at least. I don't see an issue with moving loot. I think it's smart. Makes it a smaller area to defend, thus easier. Despawning is where people are douchebags.

Online raiding is always preferred, moving the loot to the opposite side the attackers are blowing in is something almost everyone does when being raided and is a good defense and acceptable. Despawning loot is not acceptable in most cases however unless there is a specific reason, like racist ear raping, hacking or zergs you would rather not fuel. Offline raiding is acceptable in those circumstances as well as for being the smaller more under geared team looking to take out a huge threat. Offlining is not acceptable though if you are a large team targeting smaller team and solo bases with little to no defense or honeycomb.

One thing I truely respect SebbyK for is that this vid came out 2 years ago and i was reading the comments like he said in his vid (to comment down below) and someone commented 2 months ago and SebbyK replied to that comment even though this vid is 2 years old which means he truely cares about his viewers and what they have to say. Great vid. Way more patience then I have. I move loot if I can which Is totally a legit tactic. I’ve only despawned twice and sealed HQM once lol. Raiders were being super toxic. Facepunch should make loot last longer when the building it’s in is damaged by another player. That would curb the despawning.

It ok to seal and move loot if defending from a toxic 8man when your solo and there mad you wiped them full kit when you only had custom and 89 bullets 3 meds and a rad suit while there camping bandit camp just down hill and been shooting incen rockets from a tower into the gambling room

I came across a few despawners in the server i used to play on it wasnt fun like we were doing online raids and this guy specifically asked to be raided and we took about an hour or so to get into the base bc they kept building and repairing with high externals and roof camping with m2s and when we finally got in they despawned everything

Loved this video as i could relate to this persistence alot. If you play the game,you should accept all aspects of that game. My point of view on offline raids is the following: Many, like me are absolutely useless at pvp, yet people force us to fight and lose gearsets regardless if we want to be peaceful,or our pvp skills are inferior. Why is that fair, but if we offline that is frowned uppon?. (this is my point of view mostly playing solo). if you force pvp ill force u to stay online more than me. Simple solution for that excuse of ''ohh u offlined me''... just build a better base... Decided to finally subscribe to you Sebby. keep up the great vids

Raiding a clan base is an issue in itself without them being online, but when you throw the clan members in they can do all sorts of stuff like this where they just move everything, or even worse despawn. I feel that clans can be offlined but solos and duos deserve to try at least defend what's theirs since it takes them significantly longer to get to the point the clan in this vid did. At least that's what I feel. Moving loot is fine, sealing kinda sucks but it's something we've all done so we can't really be mad, despawning is plain despicable, I've never done it, never will. That being said, great vid! Determination always wins in the end!

70-80% of the time I online raid the seal themselves in and despawn the loot. Or they upgrade the last 2 rooms to armored and shop fronts so annoying.
