I would really have liked so see if you had checked some or all of the the individual pins before remove. To me it looked they all looked dry, as well as having that bridge..

What tip is that you used to touch up the pins and what temp joey. I just got a t12 iron, used to using c tips

Clearly did not have good enough iron, it's a common problem with Maplin type soldering irons. These boards need so much heat!

@Rocket Repairs yes tell me about it this morning I did a gpu 12v short mosfet that took 450 deg and a lot of flux to move it. Anyway good vid mate.

Not trying to be clever, could you also use that glue round that damaged part on the board, the glue that sets using an infa red light to harden it, forgot the name, my ignorance?
