@@octavianpopescu4776 Yes. He does have some Dragon Communion incantations but he mostly just uses his greatbow, which is what he uses to fire his harpoons. Summoning him also doesn't increase the boss's HP like most summons because his sign is inside the arena (like Sif in the Manus fight in DS1) so even if he doesn't do a lot of damage the constant chip damage from him and his ability to take the aggro off you makes the fight a little easier.

The charge's hitbox has something stupid like a 5-10 frame window to dodge on medium roll, and the black hole you have to run away from while dodging his attacks is also just so annoying. The entire rest of his attacks feel cool to dodge, and have fairly generous punish windows.

To clarify the “Consort” terminology, in real life it’s a marriage thing but in Elden Ring it’s kind of a catch-all for “partner”, and it seems to be a requisite for godhood, or at least ushering in a new era of history. Every time a Consort is taken by Marika it’s with a specific purpose in mind (Godfrey to defeat the Erdtree naysayers/Fire Giants, Radagon to establish a solid Golden Order religion), and Ranni takes us as Consort in her Age of Stars ending. Miquella admired Radahn for being both strong AND kind, and thus made him promise to join him when he made his attempt at godhood, which Radahn initially agreed to (most likely under Miquella’s manipulation). Radahn later halted the movement of the stars in order to pause fate and prevent this from coming to pass, which prompted Miquella to send Malenia to kill him, so that Miquella could fully control his soul and FORCE him to join. But of course she failed in this, and had to settle for nuking an entire landmass and waiting for him to die on his own (which only comes to pass when Jerren starts the Festival to grant him an honorable death)

Elden ring is not hard, it's punishing and abritary memorization that one shots you in a 50 hit long combo that covers your entire camera. It's just trial and error with nonseneical frame traps and unituitive attack patterns deisgned so you can't out skill anything until you've died to it 10 times. Compared to the average non-From soft DLC, yes. As always... Within the Fromsoft Games, Elden Ring isn't even in the Top 3,when it comes to DLCs/DLC quality... BB, DS3 and DS1 DLCs were just absolutely peak. Just my opinion tho, differs for everyone.

@@icebox1954 it isnt cope, yeah they make it easier, but when 90% of the summons are basicslly unusable bevause of how much they suck, and the good ones getting hit, combined with the aforementioned little time to summon and bosses prioritizing the player, summons make a lot less of a difference than they did in the base game. Base game bosses in pretty much all cases as free time to summon right when you walk in, so any summon could be used, and were a bit less aggressive, meaning they take less damage overall, AND the bosses had more predictable ai and targeted summons in a regular and abusable way. The dlc bosses dont give time to summon at the start in mose cases, have very little opportunity mid fight to summon due to longer combos and less pauses between them, and deal more dps to them due to the previously mentioned longer combos wirh fewer pauses. That leads to summons dying very fast compared to the base game, and when the bosses prioritize aggro on the players, there is a lot less abuse of the traditional "hit the boss once, wait for summon to hit the boss to draw aggro, then repeat" that has been a thing through the base game No cope man, only observation

the gank is meant to be played with the summons it provides you they appear at different times and are a huge part of every questline you do the same way you gotta summon igon for bayle, the summons for the gank make it twenty times more fun when everyone takes a different opponent
