I am from Vermont where we do this and am in Denver for college. I think they do some ice kart racing in Colorado but at least down in Denver it isn't cold enough. Plus the issue where most bodies of water are used for drinking around here and I think they would frown upon having a car fall in that. If you find ice drags in Colorado let me know. I have been missing it.

Different materials in the screws, different screw lenghts, different patterns, different number of screws etc etc.. "racing secrets"... i like his tube idea, i live in the south we have sand spurs and a lot of us ride bikes as were on a small island, i take old tubes and cut them open and use them as tire liners to help keep me from getting a flat tire from those pesky sand spurs.

they should stud further out onto the sidewall of the tire, so as the tire starts making a groove (or falls into a pre-existing one) it'll gain extra grip.
