There’s no doubt in my mind that this is a connection that is meant to be and will eventually happen… yet I also believe that I have free will, and that I can always choose to do or to not do. The sad thing is she doesn’t know how a stroke several years ago affected me because the last time she saw me was in 2015 . If she does call me, I will have to let her know that personal face-to-face truth, is really the only way that communication on a heart level can happen with me. I have been broken and twisted by the stroke and I’m afraid that once she realizes how bad I have become, all of this coming in with a “love offer”…That’s all gonna be off the table permanently. when she said that she loved me, I was nothing more than an option, a choice between many options. What she doesn’t realize is that I’m not an option. If we are meant to be together, then I’m going to be the love of your life…. she talks commitment, but for 15 years, I watched her go through a lot of different men and never stay… So be it.
