something to keep in mind about the gold value comparison in the intro is that hullbreaker's gold value includes the value of the passive while LDR's doesnt because you cant get a gold value for up to 15% bonus physical damage, but you can for the flat amount of resistances that hullbreaker's passive gives

It's also important to keep in mind that gold value is pretty useless and completely flawed as a stat because stat weights are dynamic depending on hundreds of factors that will be different every game. You value items in your pick orders, you have your first buy items where you value the gold of the each item. Then you have your second item and you do the same. Unstoppable doesnt mean you can't get cc'd. It means you cant be affected by the cc. If sion get's rooted by karma while in ult, if he ends his ult before that cc is up, he will still be rooted. The thing about cull is that not only are the stats worth 245g, but the money you get is 1 per cs up to 100 cs, which is 100g, then when you get 100 cs you get 350g for free. That adds up to 450 gold, which is the same as the item's cost. The item will by the time you get 100 cs have refunded all of it's cost, meaning you net 245 gold worth of stats for 0 gold in cost, but on top of that, whne you sell cull, it gives you 180 gold, so you get 630 gold, by paying 450 gold, it's like dark seal, but unconditional.

cull costs 450 completion gets you 350 selling the item 180 you gained more gold than buying dorans blade which just offers a little bit of omnivamp as for dorans shield i always get it first if enemy has ignite/poke dorans blade if your q has a 3 sec cd lvl 1 which really benefits from the omnivamp

1:00 gold efficiency can only give a hint of the power of an item but it is by far not perfect. Ect. the issue with cull is that while it is gold efficient it is weak early on. If the enemy gets just one kill on you where an other item would have made the difference you should'nt have bought cull. Now the reason why it sorta works for the Baus is because he is gonna feed his ass of regardless of what he buys.

it really depends. baus likes to build 60% crit so he can have IE crits in his passive, but on *most* normal assassins, collector is actually a pretty bad item, because most assassins don't basic attack enough for 20% crit to ever be useful- it's more suited for marksmen. if he were a champion like zed or kha'zix, serpent's would 100% be the choice over collector.
