Appreciate the breakdowns! I also saw one where Baldinger breaks down Kelce's blocking, that day. Got his 80+ yards and a tuddy, but had a day at blocking, too. 👍

Most borderline calls, and even some calls that should definitely not have gone the Chief's way going their way is not ref bs. Even though in the very first game with the new strict rules about where your positioned in the offensive set that Baltimore got called for about four or five times, people noted that the chiefs were doing similar things that they did not get called once. Yes if there hadn't blown snaps and missed field goals that were h very makeable, the Chiefs would have some more losses on their board.

And then say Mahomes is overrated, and the refs hand them games. But no one has ever, said exactly _why_ the NFL would want the Chiefs to win.

Patrick mahomes winding up to throw before a teammate is even in position knowing they are going to get in position to catch is bananas. Crazy anticipation

@ dominicharris- most pass plays are designed to work when the receiver runs the correct route he is running to a spot. The QB knows the route and can throw before the receiver is looking. The route is the plan. If the receiver and QB are doing it right the ball arrives when the receiver turns to look for the ball. Been like that forever. There are times, like between mahomes and Kelce that there are adjustments made to find a better spot to get the pass completed.

@@kevinrichards481 lol are u saying that to say that its not amazing? because youre talking typical anticipation. if u pause when pat is about to throw the WR or TE isnt even in position to catch, thats a whole different level from the typical qb and wr/te being on the same page in that manner. like that lob throw mahomes threw to perine last week vs the steelers, the dude was still laying down on the floor from falling down when the ball was in already in the air, aint nothing normal about that lol

The haters thought the Chiefs O line was in trouble but Reid tricked em. The last 3 games in 10 days was epic P Mahomes/Reid. Pat's the best ball handler ever in the NFL. Pat is on tilt. That quick hit game to X is deadly. THen they test X over the top. Take the over on playoff prop bets for X and Mahomes.

Most people that watch football quite a bit still don’t even understand the brilliance of Mahomes. I always recommend anyone that can follow football a little bit that doesn’t like Mahomes, I recommend them watch play breakdowns like this because that’s when you truly see how this man is different.

I am suspect on whether Brown is with the Chiefs for the 2025 season... but with Worthy improving, and Rice back, just that alone will be scary. But if they retain Brown also? Good lord.. And Hopkins is gone for sure. It was always going to be a one year deal.

Afaik, Rice is going to have legal problems and a suspension due to a brain defect. Chiefs will definitely need to hang on to either Nuk or Hollywood.

I keep saying this andy reid and mahomes experiment on what does and what doesn't work in the regular season. Then when playoffs time comes and andy Reid use those plays and change it a little

So everyone is familiar with the fact that D-hop and H-Brown are both on one year deals, and may well move on after the season is over. But are they really? Both of these WR's have played most of their careers with teams that have not been contenders for the Superbowl, every players ultimate dream They know how hard it is for teams to reach that pennicle, and all of a sudden they both find themselves in the best position theyve ever been in in their entire career to make a deep run in the playoffs, and to get a chance to play in the Superbowl. If that happens, do you really think its going to be that easy just to walk away from a team thatsva perrenial contender for the Superbowl? They might be smarter then some of those who were content to chase the money, and give up on their chance to play in another Superbowl. Might give you temporary satisfaction, but it also effects your legacy. Your chance of making it to the HOF increases greatly if you have a couple Superbowl rings on your fingers. So maybe D-hop and Brown are vetran enough to weigh the balance, and let the Chiefs know that theyre willing to negotiate, and that their also willing to compensate a contract for less money, in order to stay

Yes and so does Andy. All coaches know that other coaches and coordinators watch game tape. Dan Campbell even said when the screen shot of his player in front of the whiteboard that had plays on it was on social media he didn’t sweat it. For example I didn’t know until recently that out of one of the plays that Steve Spagnoluo may have for the Chiefs defense are 20 other plays that can be ran. Travis said the same thing about Andy. One concept you see here in this video has 10 or 12 others that play off it. And I am pretty sure other coaches do the same thing. They know the tape for each game is out there. I’ve heard Patrick say that he’s been in a game with teams he’s played several times and they threw a wrinkle in something that he never saw in previous games.
