Man I just hope that the final version is nowhere near the same as the beta was. It ran poorly and looked bad even on higher settings. I had to stop after 30 min cause it gave me a headache which no game has ever done that to me in my 25 years of gaming experience lol.

You should play this fight with greatsword. The perfect guard is almost as good as a shield and the offset makes such a good opening for damage

Nicely done mate. Are you mostly using just R2/trigger perfect guard to block stuff, or is it the reload guard point?

I noticed just R2 perfect guarding but maybe he used reload guard point at heavier attacks and I didnt noticed

@lfk113 yeah. Whatever it is, it's really tidy. Gives the weapon a nice flow. Would love to see pyrac's take on switch axe, I wonder how much the offset and counter additions are adding to it. I've always wanted more defensive options than evasion

There's a couple guard points in there being used but mostly trigger perfect guards. Much easier to time since it's almost instant, and can actually cancel a lot of other animations now

The big explosion makes wounds on his wings, not his face. While entreated, his long double slam ALSO makes wounds on the chains, but if he isn’t enraged it won’t make a wound.

His fight is so good! I can't wait for full release. I've been struggling to finish hi sfight before time runs out though. Watching your videos helped me improve so much in rise so hopefully it'll be the same here

it does run well, playing on a 3070 mobile is just fine, not great but also not bad, expecting modern titles to run great on 10 year old hardware is not reasonable thinking. That said, there is room for improvement and devs already stated they are working on further performance tweaks

The performance uplifts mentioned were stated to not be present in the beta 2 as they did not originally plan to have a second beta. I believe the benchmark is a better representation of how the final game will perform. For reference with a 3080 I get 45-50 fps on the beta and around 64-70 in the benchmark with no upscaling on 1080p so hopefully it performs better on launch :)

@@JDAM-bi1sn If a game looks great but runs like shit your reasoning is sound, but now Wilds looks shit and runs like shit for my 3070TI mobile, that is not justifiable to me. I mean, if two games looks the same (i am compare Wilds to Worlds), they should perform about the same, but to me the reality is, Wilds looks worse and performs worse than World.

They cooked with the gameplay and monster designs, actually so good. It counts for nothing when a game runs this badly though, neither myself nor my friends can run the game well enough to justify buying.
