My boys 12 and 15 were approached couple of months ago at a popular train station and I sent an email to the police but never heard anything back. I’m advising my kids and to be aware of what to look out for. Parents has to have time for their children Bravo to you both!

Do they go to schools to warn kids about grooming? I am starting to think a portion of time must be dedicated to warn kids about all kinds of grooming, not just these drug gangs! I think most kids think grooming is only done by adults but it quite often is carried out by older kids on behalf of these grooming gangs because they know kids trust kids closer to their own age more.

Rob was MUCH better when he started talking. Kate just asking what’s written, going through the motions, completely out of touch. Terrible interviewer in this segment.

Build a separate prison for these groups of people and definitely keep them away from mainstream prison.

We are fed up with constant drug peddlers in the affluent area , there are children carrying out reconnaissance on cycle and cars parked in streets with lights on, it's the biggest headache.
@janethughes954110 сағат бұрын
Who decides to take these kids from the parent and send them into a total different way of living and surviving and imagine that everything is going to work out just fine? The whole story needs to be overhauled and sometimes leave people alone.
@ew18525 сағат бұрын
So easy to say “just leave them alone”. Look at poor Sara Sharif to see the awful impact that policy can have. The young man in this vid explained he didn’t have family willing to let him stay and the young woman didn’t want to give too much detail but made it clear her living with her father was not sustainable. Would you rather they were left to their own devices and forced to go on the streets? The real problem imo is the standard of care once they are taken in by social services. Please don’t forget there are lots of children in gangs who are living with their biological parents, it doesn’t prevent them being groomed

Social services corruption, either taking kids ro adopt out... or take kids and put them in care... when they need the work doing with the parents ! So sad 😢😢
@ew18525 сағат бұрын
Sorry but you don’t know the ins and outs of every child in care’s story. In fact the emphasis in SC for years now has been on keeping the child with the family as far as possible. That has had some terrible impacts, just look at the awful mistakes this policy led to with poor Sara Sharif. Lots of kids in gangs are living with their bio parents

@ew1852 I did my dipSW years ago and have worked with young people for 20 years. I m not saying that all are corrupt... but I'm saying I have had first-hand experience of the corruption involved.
@courtster-f2r4 сағат бұрын
@ew1852 actually..... the majority of kids in gangs are from broken homes, or in care. Many of the previous sad cases are down to incompetence of the workers or management 😢

@@Dylan-y6n Darth Vader had "good in him" but that didn't excuse all the killing he did, even serial killers and grapists are nice to people now and then using your logic we should let their crimes slide, jesus you people are soft in the head 🤪
@Dylan-y6n5 күн бұрын
@@jeffknott1975 he sold drugs, *as a child* and committed crimes, then went to jail and has turned his life around. You clearly dont understand child exploitation and the reasons why laws are softer on children. And who are 'you people' you are referring to? If someone commits a crime and does wrong do we write them off for life? (some crimes are certainly unforgiveable, but that doesnt apply to this man). You are very small minded. And they havent 'let his crimes slide', he has been to jail, served his punishment and is now out and clearly doing good things with his new opportunity at life.
