this was insanely accurate, i was giving too much energy to this person and they definitely weren’t giving the same energy back, so i cut them off, and now i feel like a completely different person. as soon as i left, everything fell into place. i was in a stagnant energy, staying in the same place, talking with the same person because it was comfortable, and now that i cut them off, i am flourishing!!! i got sober, started taking care of myself more, eating healthier, dyed my hair, about to get a new well paying job, and this is all in the span of a week!! it’s CRAZYY how much a person can keep you in the same cycles, i think it was a great decision that i left, ofc i miss them but its for the better, i feel better, i look better, it feels nice to pour into my own cup instead of someone elses :)

He got out of a 5 year relationship (one year this December) we met for the second time in June of this year and honestly it was supposed to be something chill and casual.
