@@5lcalais1 an engineer cert cost more than he prob spent on his engine, it's not a cheap process I don't know if you actually know anything about it but it's a bit easier in a 25+ year old car if you only want club reg but if you want proper rego then it needs to be designed by an engineer in cad, involves multiple inspections along the build process and even x-rays if you want chromoly. For most people it's not a feasible idea unless you know an approved engineer and can get a cracker deal it's going to cost you over 10k aud before you even add the cost of cage, I know because I have gotten quotes for my S13 and decided to just make it a dedicated track car because I can build the whole car for the cost of the cage, props to the little red ute what I'm talking about is the number one reason his cage is hidden imo because it's not engendered, it's race teched he said in the vid not engendered so ways around it if ya smart, it's tough to hide a cage so well in a Skyline tho. @@christhorney well I can't speak for every but in qld , the transport dept. They have a guide/plans/design/restrictions On how the cage is to be constructed, and yes engineering is expensive and if we wanna play the game we gotta be prepared to pay the price unfortunately which is why my vn is a dedicated track car too I certainly can't afford to engineer it 😂 nor do I want too at least this way I don't have to compromise on anything. But if you can afford to build a 9 second gtr you can certainly afford the cage and the engineering 🤷♂️😂 u can't buy a stock r32 gtr under 40k anymore, he's essentially peddling a 100k car there if not more, he can certainly afford the safety equipment 🤔😂

Truck: commercial based vehicle. Ute: passenger car based vehicle, must be one piece body- no separate tray. First produced in Australia, known around the world but not necessarily by name.
