I understand what you felt and experienced and I saw no reason to leave. Brazil has its challenges and sometimes I get really frustrated. I can't lie about that. But, nowhere is perfect. I'm from the UK and my best friend is Brazilian. In 2016, I went to Brazil for the first time to visit her home and family and experience her culture and country and I can honestly say it was one of the very best experiences of my life and I fell in love with Brazil. The people are without a doubt the most welcoming and accepting I've ever met and it's food, heritage and sights are so unique and exciting! I cannot wait to go back and discover more teasures there!

I am an old geezer quickly approaching 80 yeear olld, and since I was a kid and saw my first picture of Rio and Christ the Redeemer, I have been totally infatuated with that beautiful country. Little did I know, but my dreams never came close to the reality of Brazil. I am married to a "Carioca". A woman who was born to a British father and Italian mother in Rio de Janeiro, my "Girl from Ipanema". We now travel to Brazil at least every 2 years to visit family and discover the wonders and beauties of this fantastic country. This video gives one of the best quick views of Brazil in a short video, but it only touches on the wonders that are there. The people are beautiful, warm and truly inviting. The scenery is amazing, and the food is not to be believed. The architecture, both old and modern, it tops in the world. If you think of Brazil as a third world country, you are extremely mistaken! If you truly enjoy life, Brazil must be on your bucket list!!! Thanks to the Varbros for a really great and true to the subject video.

@@logisticainsana1028 acho q pra quem não imigrou talvez pareça mais simples voltar do que parece. No nosso caso sim, a questão financeira tem bastante influencia pq ganhamos bem fora. Fora isso, tem toda uma estrutura que voce construiu no novo país né, amigos, trabalho, etc… E viver com mto menos violência/insegurança também te faz repensar se voltar pro Brasil seria a melhor opção. Enfim, voltar é sempre uma opção mas talvez não seja a melhor para muitos de nós. Fora isso, o Brasil tem muitas coisas positivas que dão saudade (coisas que, às vezes, valorizamos mais ao morarmos fora) então esse sentimento sempre vai nos acompanhar, o que não quer dizer necessariamente que queremos voltar a morar aí.

It has served (you) to designate the country United States of America. The famous American's Dream is the American dream of the United States of America. So, yes, you got used to saying "America" referring only to the country itself: the United States of America (as in the case of Sandragotvoice's sentence). It seems that nothing else exists outside the USA and this is highly offensive to us: latin americans. You guys should know this.

Go to the south of Brazil, there are fewer migrants from other regions of the country that create slums, dirt and insecurity. Rio, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte suffer from insecurity with internal migrants, almost similar to Paris, Berlin with external emigrants.
