I had been to Leh in 1970 to 1972.Now there is a seachange in Ladakh In those days there were a few houses and shops in the market. I n forward areas like Hanley,Chumatang ,Mahi there were villages only at a distance of 50 to 60 miles.At present it not so difficult as campared to seventies. .

Scenic village. Fascinating land scape greenery hills fields. They reside in dug wall houses. They are gentle civilized friendly. I think there is no jihadi terrorism like Kashmir. No Pak sponsored terrorism. So they are secured. Luck inhabitants of Laddakh
