New York City pastor James David Manning of the ATLAH World Missionary Church argued that Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich could be black presidents. Cenk Uygur and Jayar Jackson of The Young Turks broke discussed the comments on the 2012 Republican Presidential candidates. The Pastor watched the clips and released a response video which is broken down by Cenk, Ana Kasparian and Jayar.

Just an FYI about black railroad porters. An early ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS featured Cloris Leachman and Scatman Crothers as an affluent passenger and porter respectively. It was produced back in the fifties and the relationship moves below the surface of the script but plays out in the body language and glances. Hitchcock is known for putting extremely subtle stuff in his work amd its here as well. It is in line with what Pastor Manning suggests about black porters.

To be honest, I couldn't tell much about my great grandmother save for her being an ex slave. Take whatever conclusions you want from that short narrative. What I'm saying is that the notion of a person being quantified then measured by phenotypes is a slippery slope because we don't know enough about genetics. Hell, "passing" is more associated with what the other person sees. If you've never seen a Black person (a lot of americans haven't seen us unless it's TV), you can't readily tell.
