I agree 100% the outrage "machine" creates and the dumb consume. They say 'you can't fix stupid', but I believe you can fix the dumb...but it's hard. It's hard to break years of the insidious "education" cycle of repeating the mantras of the outrage machine. Obviously I am liberally paraphrasing the issue, the point is some just repeat by rote what they've "learned"...but others will never stop to think before they repeat. Some can be retrained others not. How to reach those that can change...I don't know. Off-hand I think the changes are need in academia and media environments...again how to change them...I don't know.

@@vannellope6053 YT has become so censored it's hard to make videos that won't be removed and even harder to make those that will be monetized. Hell it's even hard to hold a conversation. Just last week I posted a comment using the WWII H-word, only to have the comment deleted 5 times before I figured out what was happening and how to circumvent it. The word - H* o* l* o* c* a* u* s* t* . I had this happen several months ago, but later saw the word used in someone's comment, so I used it again only to have the comment deleted. Why???

They make fun of pretentious method-actors (that's RDJ's character,he´s so pretentious, ignorant and into the whole method acting thing, that he doesn´t even realise how fucking stupid and offensive it was "turning black" for a movie role,he´s so into it,he actually believes himself beeing black), slimy producers (Tom Cruise's character, who is partly inspired by H.Weinstein!),even slimier managers (Matthew McConaghey´s character), untanlented action stars who think themselfs as serious actors (Ben Stiller´s character, who is pissed he didn´t got an Oscar for playing a mentally challenged person or how he calls it,a "retard" despite "going full on retard"), fake Gangsta-Rappers (the Alpa Chino guy,who turns out to be a well educated, gay guy, that never grow up in the Hood), all these pretentious Oscar bait movies, racism in Hollywood(when Alpa Chino complains that for the only good part for a black dude, they cast an Aussie actor!), corny Hollywood war-movies about Vietnam, shitty toilet-humor comedies like the stuff Adam Sandler makes (that's Jack Black's character) etc. etc. etc. The 3 fake movie trailers in the beginning alone, are some of the funniest and on point satire about modern Hollywood.

“I’m the dude, playing the dude, disguise as another dude” Since when did comedy have to be PC. Comedy is about laughing but acknowledging the reality of this world. From Ricard Prior to Burnie Mac, the stage was where filters was set to off and people of all races could have a laugh even at the most uncomfortable jokes of reality. If you can’t learn to laugh then how can you hold an active dialogue about sensitive issues without getting mad, without being triggered? Not saying no one can be mad at something but this cancel culture thing and getting overly upset got to stop.
