The Society box is really cute designed totally around the poem The Desidarata. So many money making self help books, ideas, art, trite word says for walls etc. but in its entirety is a great poem. Would be a good one for your book club. What kind of yarn, how many grams, yarn weight for hook size is needed? Yvette you are Obviously not a young adult of the 70's. lol The Desidarata was a very famous poem about hard times by an American author Ma Ehrmann in the 1920's that was printed whole or in part on posters, T shirts in the 70;s. Everybody from the era likely knows it by heart. Its meaning abbreviated: Positivity is the practice of being or tendency to be positive or optimistic in life. The poem teaches us that we should cultivate a positive outlook on life and on the world in which we live.

Seaside Nope. I was born in 1972. I have never heard of the poem. However, I totally lurve everything in this box. I love the 70s references, even if I'm not familiar with their origins. LOL! xoxo
