7:25 it seems so weird to hear about a murder in Layton (Bountiful to Ogden area) we never hear about shady stuff in Bountiful. Its such a quiet, Christian little town. But the closer you get to Ogden, the dirtier it gets! Salt Lake City is no shocker when it comes to crime. Its supposed to be the face of peace, and they spend alot of money to paint it peaceful, but its all a facade! Its literally a cesspool of rebellion & disrupt! The homeless population, is almost at a competitive rste, as the citizens who own a home! Ive lived here for 47yrs, amd its only gotten worse over time! Its just sad. The fact that something this gruesome happened tho, is actually surprising.

@@theywillkillyou i dont really know that it seriously effects the entire community, aside from the pain it causes the friends & family of the victims. We always rally for something to be done, but i honestly believe that much ever gets done, bcz utah has such a blanketed front of peacefulness that everyone wants it portrayed as, there's only so much thats done about it and people still keep coming here. We are so over crowded now, its not even funny. The fact that most music bands (dont care what genre) say that SLC has the most wild fans, should say alot! Just like children that rebel, do it even more when you make more rules. Same goes for the communities. And the way kids are acting bcz of all these stupid "you cant spank your kids or tell them no" rules, its out of control. The individual communities i think tighten a bit closer together to try and be more vigil, but thats the majority of the outcomes. And even then, that slows down as time passes. I think its the same everwhere tho. There's not much difference. People everywhere gain a false sense of security from their surroundings, due to the fact they've been there for so long that its comfortable to them. We all get scared when something outlandish happens, but we always end up mourning the loss and then move on. Its just how life works!
