When I was shooting weddings before the days of digital I would come in close and meter on the couples face then set my exposure and shoot away. Love all the film stocks you mentioned.

Great video man! We started incorporating film into wedding days the last two years and it’s been a lot of fun. We’ve been using the Canon Elan 7N that has autofocus which has been nice. Looking forward to expanding into more film photography

Good video. Just saying: “light, bright, airy” is not because of medium format, it’s more because of the way of shooting, film selection, and metering

I have an external meter, but I typically just use my camera's built in meter.

Loving the Holga! I prefer having more control but I usually shoot one roll on the Holga per wedding and get some fun results.

Would you say most of your Instagram is from the Contax g2? I want to invest in this but also be realistic about the cost

Lots of different cameras, the Leica M6 and Contax 645 mostly. The G2 is a fantastic camera though!

Thank you so much for this video - I honestly thought film would be a much easier transition and it straight up is NOT and I should have done my research prior to testing and assuming auto settings would suffice. I brought 15 rolls of Portra 400 to a wedding (for a friend, not my own booking) and truly f'ed up most of the film shooting auto, complete waste of money so I'm watching ALL the videos before I try this again lolol
