I’ve never commented on a video before, but I had to write to say how wonderful it was that you featured your sister this way. I live in Toronto as well, and my little sister has DS as well as using a wheelchair. Her name is Nisha and we as a family often discuss how fundamentally she has changed our lives. She is turning 25 soon, and it’s crazy to think of what the past quarter century would have been without her love of painting, dancing, her deep sense of “this is right and this is wrong”, etc. Individuals with DS can be so entirely life changing for the families (like yours) who are open loving and embracing of the experience!! Lots of love and prayers to you and your family 💕

Nadia is beautiful and so caring Masha'Allah. I love her in your videos. Some of the comments in the comment section made me so angry, how dare someone ask if she is normal or not. I find that so so rude , who are we to judge who is normal or not 🙄 Allah paak keep her so happy and healthy Ameen sum Ameen. It's great you did this video to raise awareness and get rid of the jahliyat we have in this society. On a side note, the stairs are looking so good ! If your mum is willing maybe your mum could speak about her experience and how she felt initially and how she managed with the condition.
