A game that actually goes against the teachings of Urban Dynamics is "Urbek City Builder" from 2022, its got Tenant farmers, Social housing that is portrayed as a good thing and Cooperative Bookstores and bars. Weird that so few people talk about it, its such a hidden gem and the developer has only been adding more and more stuff since launch

Ooh, thank you for the rec! I put it on my steam wishlist. I’ve always had trouble getting into city building games, and I think it’s because the mindset you’re expected to have about cities is too different from what I want to do (luxury gay walkable communism)
