I love this! I just braided my hair like this yesterday and left them down. I'm ancient and I don't care if I look like Heidi. 🤣 You can rock the Heidi look too. I would like to see you doing all kinds of styles please. It really helps watching you do your own hair because my husband refuses to learn to style my hair so I'm on my own. So casual, work, special occasions, all of the above! And NOW I know I need to take a small bit at the front and can make the section larger as I go back! You really are a hair style genius! You need to practice,(without a mirror) and you have to trust your hands

I braid mine with my hands in front of my face. I haven't mastered it with the way she holds her hands and I'm a weakling so my arms give out. So my braids are more to the front of my head and it's easier for me to get them to be symmetrical. It matters where you hold your hands. But you can do it!! Because I do it and I'm basically all thumbs with t-rex arms. 🤣

With Hashimotos and PCOS (and previously having fine hair but a lot of it), now I have fine hair that is also thin and sparse. Thank you for this series. I am either doing your fake bangs look or this look for thanksgiving tomorrow

Thank you so much, Beth! It's crazy - I had very thick hair in my youth, but now that I'm older (43!), 90% grey (thanks genes! I put demiperm pink over it now, haha), & have some health problems (hypothyroidism is the main one affecting my hair, I think?), my hair is VERY thin & VERY different and I've been slacking on trying to figure it out (I've worn a high bun daily for...too many years). Thanks for posting these videos of YOU styling YOUR OWN thin hair - my kid isn't quite skilled enough to help me just yet! 😁 If you have any styles that don't require holding your arms above your head for long periods of time, that would be wicked helpful too! I'm not sure exactly how those would work, but ones you can take little breaks to let your arms rest without losing the style would be cool. Your videos are always so easy to understand & you break the steps down very well. I've perfected a 'lace dutch crown braid' on the front of my daughter's hair thanks to your videos - I can get her hair out of her face in a secure AND attractive way in less than 5 minutes on a school morning, & she still gets to feel like her hair is MOSTLY down! lol Thanks again for all the hard work you put out here!

I’m so glad I found this. I’ve been so frustrated watching other braiding tutorials and seeing people with “accent braids” the size of all of my hair in one braid. Lol. I would love to see some styles for being outdoors for a long time… like hiking up a mountain and it’s windy. With a ponytail, the top and front always pulls loose and flies around and gets in my face (and makes pictures terrible) I’m just learning how to braid hoping it will keep things tight but I think I need small, tight braids like viking warrior woman hair. I just can’t get it to look good. 😞 would love to see you take a stab at it!
