Hey, just three things: -Yours is the best beauty/fashion channel on YT that actually makes sense. -You have a very pleasant, relaxing voice. -You slay with your look in every video. For the next video, can you talk about ingenue essence?
@Noververify6 жыл бұрын
I love your channel because unlike other youtubers, you don't use your face as a shop display for all the makeup brands sponsoring every little product that can be piled on the face. You talk about focal points, where the eye goes, and body types and what looks 'right' in real life. Great job!

I love your tutorials! You never leave out those subtle steps that make a huge difference. So many people leave out stuff so you don't really end up with the same results. I've been a MUA for more than a decade and I still learn something new with each of your videos. Thank you for generously sharing your talent!

Thank you sooo much Aly! You are the only person who has helped me figure out how to do winged liner on my hooded eyes! I tried for years & it never look right, until I finally saw your hooded eyes videos. You're not only incredibly talented, but you also explain exactly why something works, or doesn't work, and I truly appreciate that! I've learned so much from you! You're a beautiful, intelligent and talented woman, and we all love your videos! 💖💖💖

Aly, I love your videos. You’re by far the best beauty KZbinr I’ve come across. I love that you’re always positive and you find beauty in everyone. Im an artist as well and I feel like everyone has beauty and it’s very individualized. It’s not about what’s “in” or looking like other people. You think outside the box and you have a great way of expressing your thoughts and teaching about it in a way that nobody else has. Thank you for being a lovely inspiration!

You need more views for the practical approach you give when teaching how to create a makeup effect. Your artistry shines through the way you make the end result accessible. Thank you for showcasing a "rough sketch" technique while working with eyeliner - it makes total sense. You're such a pleasant deliverer of information too, like a breath of fresh air. Thank you

I took a winged eyeliner class at Sephora and they said "sisters, not twins," because our eyes are not exactly the same so your eyeliner won't be exactly the same. It helped relieve a lot of anxiety I had to try and get them exactly the same each time.

I have deep set eyes with plenty of lid showing and prominent brow bones so I don't need shadow the crease. The 'flick' or 'tail' of the eyeliner won't work because it has to cross the bump of the brow bone which protrudes (which is why eyes are deep set). What is the best eye makeup for that type of eye shape? Anyone can reply to me.

I know I have been giving you a hard time about Mac but you really are a brilliant makeup artist. I only rate yourself, Lisa Eldridge Wayne Goss and Marlena Makeup Geek (there's a couple of others who are more Goth dramatic and most are in or attached to Kat von D's Artistry Collective. You have an amazing eye for detail and the perspectives of the face and body. I can't get the Mac and other companies that still test on animals, been out of my bonnet, if you will but I don't bear ill will about it and I respect you and your artistic talent immensely. Oh one more thing there is a fabulous artist on You Tube called John McLean, you should really have a look .... it's fascinating and terribly addictive! You have many features in common with Marilyn Munroe btw.

Di :3 😕😩😢 That's so sad, noone should have to live without eyeliner lol. I have a friend who has seriously hooded eyes and she still rocks the cat eye. I think you should keep on trying (if you want, I don't like when strangers on the internet think they know better 😂) I'm pretty sure you look amazing in it.

Nyc 123 it depends where your lid folds over. Mine breaks beyond the outer edge so it is not possible without looking weird. I just use a brown eyeshadow stick on my lash line and blend it to create a bit of definition. My eye shape is so weird! Lol I have made peace with it 😁
