After having used hair fibers for a few years now (not this brand yet, but I am impressed) I will give advise to novices: Their tip to make sure your hair is thoroughly dry before application of fibers is ultra important. No dampness, moisture whatsoever should remain in the hair. This is a big deal. And then use a fairly strong hold hairspray evenly and in a couple of light layers. Later on if it rains lightly most likely not a problem for a few seconds or so. Resist the temptation to itch. I went to the gym nearly everyday for a couple of years and a couple of times other bald guys commented, "At least you've go hair!" when we somehow got on the topic of hair. I just sort of grinned and kept my mouth shut. If applied properly, that's how natural it looks. Also, in the brand I was using, I got medium brown because light brown tended to look like sawdust on the head, where as the medium brown applied better and looked natural.

@@paulj92713 - I am using Boldify, however they changed their formula to be "all natural" about 1 year ago and it now does not cling to the hairs quite as well. I am considering trying this Thick Fiber. Hairline is trickiest, but if you've got at least some hair to swoop down across the front you can pull it off. If you're new at it I can give you some tips. Also, my experience has been if i very lightly spray it to just hold it in place I can sprinkle some more hair fiber in spots that need it and it will cling, then do the final spray to hold it all. Good to go all day.

@@jerrys.1910 Thank you. I've been reading good reviews on Toppik and was considering trying it. I do have hairs on my front. But they are thinning in the typical MPB areas. Like you said I was thinking of trying toppik and using hair spray to hold it all in place. I just hope that the fibers can resist some amount of perspiration, as it gets quite humid where I live..

@@paulj92713 - You're welcome. I've experienced Toppik, Caboki and Boldify. Boldify was less expensive and performed better for me, like I said - until they changed the formula. When I first used hair fibers I had hair fiber all over the bathroom sink and on the floor. LOL it was terrible until I learn how to apply it properly. You don't want to shake it six inches above your head or anything like that. I'm seriously thinking about getting one of those little aerator looking devices to apply it like in the video. I think it would be more concise for the hairline also. Let me know if you would like to learn anything else from my experience.

I use fibers every day...about 12 years now. I hate that spray thing, but this person really uses it well. I have never started with a hot comb, usually just a light dusting of light hold hairspray before and after. When done properly, it is invisible.

I have experienced this product for my marriage cermony. I think its best and quick soultion for your scalp baldness. If you know how to make style yourself, you can even continue this permanently after each shower. Better than hair replacements or painfull transplants.

My hair is thin since when i was in highschool. Now im working now in a company it is really hard for me to fix my hair everyday because of its thiness. Check your vitamin Bs make sure they are in check. Get blood work done ask for all B vitamin not just Vitamin B 12. What to make sure you are not deficient in nutrients.

That was a great transformation. I'm doing some research as to how receptive men would be to going to a salon offering this type of service ? I have assisted with doing a good guy friend of mines man weave. It looked amazing! Even if I do say so myself. I'm here to really feel out if guys out there would really come to a salon. Straight guys will have a problem - at first so they need some help. How to do this? Target men who already place more priority on their looks. Gay guys. Gym guys. Certain communities who are already in the habit of getting weekly trims to see looking sharp because of peer pressure. This type of guy is usually more social and that means they have more opportunities to help get the word out so that helps the business grow. Once these guys get the word out to each other, the pressure will be on other guys in their friend groups who aren't necessarily in your first Target community, to do something about their hair loss. I would say most guys want to do something about losing your hair but they just don't want to go through the uncomfortable conversation about what their options are. Once they know other guys do it (gay or straight) they will be less hesitant to book an appointment. Maybe have a men's hour or whatever. Certain days or certain times where you book a majority of male clients. The guys don't necessarily have to know that you are clumping them all together (ie: don't make them feel like you are limiting their options for bookings) but do let them know that you can book them at a time when a lot of guys stop in if that makes them more comfortable. Most guys don't care either way if the stylist is male or female, but in my opinion a lot of men might be embarrassed or uncomfortable in a room full of women clients while they are getting a treatment like this. He would probably feel on display in uncomfortable way. So yes I do think that there is a market for this for sure. I think that some strategy has to be involved so you put effort into the right people at the beginning to help this thing become a success for a majority of guys in a way that will make your efforts more likely to have better pay off in the long run. Honestly it looks great but this is not permanent. In a matter of a day or so it will wear off and you'll need to wash and re apply. It's good for a one day event/dinner/party. Not for other situations.
