It’s so weird that some people think that the mids are terrible. I do agree that they’re recessed due to their v-shape tuning, but that’s the point of this IEM. Different strokes for different folks, I suppose.

Those same people say that an iem with good mids has bad soundstage too... not realizing you have to recess the correct mids to get wide staging.

Do the nozzles look wide because they are short or are they really wide? I like that FR graph. Pinna peak appears pushed towards higher frequencies. That is why vocals sound back, I guess.

The nozzles seem pretty average for all the IEMs I have tried.

Hey Vortex! Great Review, I'm going to get a pair of these now. However, there have been many posts on reddit, hifiorg, and youtube saying that their is a sort of rattling sound when tapping on the iems. I was wondering if you were experiencing this same problem?

Hello vortex could you do a review of the trn mt4s? I just got my iems in (truthear hola) and i love the sound but they lack a bit of bass for me. I heard the mt4s have a really nice v shape and kt would be great to see your insight on them

Hola are not shy on bass in my opinion and most likely won't try the TRN MT4.

I just don't get why you can't choose 4.4 version of the cable especially when the cable isn't the one with swappable connectors. Especially considering on most balanced amps the balanced output is far better than single ended.

I understand what you mean and on some gear the 4.4 is no better than the 3.5 and exists just for convenience.

Great review as usual vortex. The tuning looks really good and it is something I might love. But I did find the packaging to be a bit big for no reason and no real accessories. Just a nitpick from my end 😅

Thanks very much and I do agree the box is a bit overly large for what it needed to be but I guess that helps it feel more "premium" and the accessories amount was acceptable.

I normally do more budget items so definitely not a "loaded" reviewer. If you have a problem with a kind of video then simply don't watch it.
