Thierry Mugler Les Exceptions 5 sample review

Hello everyone!
I will be filming a sample review video every Thursday starting from today!
Today I will be reviewing and giving my own personal opinion on 5 different fragrances by Thierry Mugler from their Les Exceptions line including Fougere Furieuse, Over The Musk, Chyprissime, Supra Floral and Oriental Express. They are not sold in Australia but can be found in various airports and in different department stores and boutiques overseas.

StellaDiverFlynn I am a fan of Thierry Mugler too and was hoping this line was a major love for me but it was not. When you start off making powerful and gorgeous fragrances like Angel and Alien then it is hard to top that off I guess, I find that I had high expectations with this line because of his other fragrances but was let down by most of them unfortunately.

It really seems like every house has an excusive line. Even Davidoff has one, i came across it last week - the Davidoff Agar Blend one is really good though! Nice video again, Ami. Love your voice 😊

Last night I came across 5 Mugler exclusive fragrances that I had received after placing others a year or so ago...forgot I had then, and I don't even know their names. Anyway, I set 'em aside and hope to try them this weekend. Appreciate this timely review.

I applied Oriental Express a short while ago and it reminded me quite a bit of the older Dior Homme Intense (which is a horrible non-masculine power-bomb that no man should wear...yet, smells pretty darn good on the ladies and my daughters)...however, this one is a bit different in that there is something a bit different about Oriental Express (kinda interesting, but kind of odd at the same time). Overall, I like it as a women's fragrance (has that powdery-lipstick/vanilla vibe). It's a heavier scent so it seems like it should perform well, but so far it is sitting pretty close to my skin the past hour. I'm working from home today...no way I would wear this one out-of-the-house. Anyway, just my first impression.

Just listed to your review of Oriental Express again...spot-on! Would you ever want to smell this one on a man? Also, it's only been on my skin for an hour and it's a skin scent. Performance is not good. On a positive note, baby-powder/makeup accord is starting to fade and it's become a straight-up sandalwood-vanilla scent. Although the drydown is better suited for the dudes, and it's a decent scent, it's rather "Meh." To be honest, I have better, more masculine, sandalwood-vanilla fragrances that I prefer over this one. Again, it's a nice fragrance...but not worth the price....especially when performance is so poor.

I absolutely love Thierry Mugler perfumes they are my newest obsession! So far I have the Alien, the extraordinaire the yellow one and just now found a bottle of womanity at a perfume retailer and wow love it so much I cannot control myself anymore I buy it and that's that budget shmadget lol

Gen'kalovesmakeup I love his regular line too! Most of them are beautiful and have amazing lasting power! Too bad it wasn't the case with this exclusive line. I really love all of the Alien line 😍 You're going to have a lot of fun exploring all the wide variety of scents from this House! 😘
