Looks great! I wish we had more selection in low profile switches and keyboards, but it has come far in the past few years!

the hipyo and krytox comments in this video killed me, the intros never disappoint!! Great to see more options for those interested! Also seems like iquinix has come a long way from their previous $175+ prebuilts that were fully plastic. Also great to see VIA support!

Scott it's like you are in my head. Was just thinking about adding a low profile keyboard to the collection but was curious about what was out there. Perfect timing on the content. Great work as always!

Thank you so much! I did try a quite a bit of these low profiles from the keychron to the rog to nuphy, lofree, etc. And overall, I think this one is the most balanced. Edge is also very nice but depending on sales, it's like 200-240 which is quite a bit
@Deschain192 күн бұрын
@ I was looking at the Edge but seeing this Magi and hearing it's sound profile, I will definitely be checking this one out. Thanks again!

Just an FYI: Ocre is a type of clay that can be colored yellow or red with oxydes and is used as pigment. I would say we often call an off-white color "ocre" in French, so that may be it

Great review for confirming my buyer bias. This is an incredible keyboard that feel and sound amazing, I received mine yesterday in just one week to europe ! Even though I'm more of a tactile guy I love those gold red linear, I might still replace them with Kailh's Black Cloud / Elements Series (which are the same as lofree's phantom without the huge brand markup about 25 to 30% cheaper 0.45 to 0.5 a piece). Anyhow it is way better than any nuphy and lofree I tried in the past, and cheaper aswell... This will absolutely be my daily driver for work and home for a while, it fits great in a sleeve and is honestly not heavy to transport in a backpack, unless you're lazy. The 75% MQ80 will be an instant buy for me too.

Have you used the Flow84? I'm currently using one until I return it, and would love to hear about the main differences the two keyboards have. Also crossing my fingers, waiting for the MQ80.

Wow! During your previous video I wanted to ask for a review of this keyboard in the comments. But I decided not to, because it’s off topic. My usecase for a low profile is to carry it in my bag with my laptop when I go to work (got 2 office days per week).

Keyboard looks and sounds good... until you look at it sideway. The super visible switches make it look like a 2010s cheap gaming keyboard. Shame.

I'm really excited for when Iqunix releases it's 75% version of this, the MQ80. I currently am using the Flow84, and while it is amazing to type on. It has next to no features (seriously, no RGB lighting, no key bind customization, no different keyboard angles, no 2.4ghz connection, all while costing like $170?). The Magi65 has all that, so I'm really hoping the MQ80 will be as good but with more keys, all while having the fantastic typing experience the Flow84 has.

I had no idea about the MQ80. Hope it releases soon

Got mine and requested a return in 2 hours. One of 2 included metal keycaps was falling off of the switch. The board was wobbling on the desk without a mat. The stabs were rattling. And the gasket… it’s so stupid. Is feels like it’s located in the middle of the board. So if I pressed in the far right side, the left side would stay a bit elevated. Idk man, that was quite an experience
