They discussed the state of the Hotel industry in Indonesia and the larger APAC region with a focus on benefit of hotels as investment class, investment appetite within the region and real-world challenges the industry must solve.

▶️Diversification of hotel real estate portfolio. The right asset in the right location has strong potential for acceptable payback and Return on Capital Employed
▶️ RevPAR growth is over 40% in most markets and many private equity, family offices and real estate developers want to enter the industry
▶️ Hotels add a halo effect to all the developments around them
▶️ India, China were the focus for hotel investments in the region pre-COVID. Today, it is across Southeast Asia
