GIA wasn't impressed with fame - money- nor fortune. She was and lived as her own (1 of a kind). What GIA wanted?- was looking for?- was to be ACCEPTED wanted to be LOVED. She fell in Love with (?) and was rejected. Thats when she turned to Heroin to feel the ease then the needle which turned to DEATH (ESCAPE). She was NATURAL BEAUTIFUL. With or without makeup. She was different- she was her own person. BEAUTIFUL then and now. GIA could walk into a room with- Cindy Crawford- Giselle Buchanan- Naomi Campbell- Tyra Banks- they all could be Dressed to kill. GIA walk in wearing- white shirt- green military shorts- blacks lace up boots. And it would be all eyes on GIA. GIA didn't have to dress up nor wear makeup to look BEAUTIFUL. GIA was STUNNING. I have not seen (1) since her. GIA might be gone- but she will Live Forever. I LOVE YOU 💚 GIA 💚!! I would love to meet GIA and told her to NEVER get CLOSE too- nor fall in LOVE with someone who was STRAIGHT- it will never Last- and you will get HURT every time. Then again- (1) can't help who they LOVE. She couldn't have who she wanted. So she settled for the next. Which RESEMBLES who she LOVED & WANTED.

I never said Gia who? come on I just had to live in the world of AIDS, with people knowing I had been with a heroin addicted model. It was a rough time, not just for me but for everyone. Gia distanced herself from me when she foud out she was sick because she did nt want me to see her that way and also, she may have infected me. I lived with that one for many years. I never shut her out. She found Elyssa and got deeper ito her habit . I wasn't into that ride.

Hello Ms.Linter thank you for working so hard to preserve Gia's memory please do not stop we appreciate everything that you do.Please ignore all the haters no one knew Gia better than you and it is evident that you loved her just as she loved you.People don't understand how hard it is to love and to help someone who is addicted to drugs they are not themselves and usually resist any attempts at an intervention.You did the best that you could given the circumstance and its confusing nature. I mean here you were a straight woman for all your life and suddenly finding yourself falling in love with another woman.That can be scary and disorienting but you gave it your best shot because you loved her.I think you should also be commended for being so progressive and open-minded in a period when so many people were not.You are an exceptionally talented make-up artist and a seemingly humble and level-headed person.Keep doing what you do best and ignore those unnecessarily disrespectful persons who cannot possibly understand or comprehend your situation until they have experienced it.After reading some nasty comments i felt that i had to write this .I apologize for its length.Stay Blessed.

Anyone who wants to bad mouth Sandy Gia would eat you aive! She loved her and your opinion matters little about their time together. She is sharing and she didn't have to. Those memories belong to Sandy and Gia. Not to Gias fans that most weren't even born til after Gia died .Thanku Sandy. Gias life and story helped this heroin junkie find recovery. I grew up in the 80s and looking at Gias beautiful image on Cosmo covers. I ordered the green silk tee . I never thought id grow up sharing more than fashion. I still read THING OF BEAUTY 1x a year even though im in recovery 14 years. It reminds me of where i once was

It was incredible that Gia actually went into the shooting gallerys amongst the down and out street ppl that were the lowest of lows and shot up. Id be scared to death to ever go to these places. But she went there by herself dressed up from a shoot, stood out like a sore thumb and shot heroin. She always had thousands of dollars in cash on her. She must have gotten robbed a million times when she was laying there drugged out of her mind. I mean blowing 5 grand in one day on heroin??? And not dying???? She deffinately got robbed without her knowing.
@MA-rn2xp2 жыл бұрын
I agree however she was also known to be out of control as a drug user so her running up 5 grand on herione sounds plausible she was probably using from sunup to sundown

I'm gonna be honest, I don't like her. No, I don't blame her for Gia's death, but when Gia was alive and her name was no good in modeling anymore, this broad was one of the first people to start going, "Gia who?". Now decades later when Gia's story has been told and Gia gets all this press attention and so many people love her...suddenly Sandy Linter is all pro-Gia? Come on, now. She was flat out ignoring Gia when things got bad in her life.

Another reason why the stigma of being gay needs to go away. Depression and fake marriages are rampant as a result. And I am straight as an arrow, so I am not biased. People need to mind their own business when it comes to other's private lives.

Yeah she didn't even know she died cause when Gia would call she'd never awnser the phone even if she had no romantic feelings towards gia she was supposedly still her friend. It's clear that they had a sexual relationship. How much money you wanna bet that Gia wanted more?. I don't hate Sandy. I think she cared about Gia in her own way but she wanted nothing to do with her after she became an addict. She also never reciprocated these so called strong feelings while she was alive she only expressed them after her passing. And now a days it seems Sandy uses Gias legacy to remain relevant all she ever mentions is Gia Gia Gia on her Instagram constantly tagging her name in her posts she knows Gias name will forever be attached to her so she uses it in my opinion for her own benefit because where was all that when she was alive!!!! When she was reaching out and calling uu 50 times a day why didn't you pick up Sandy?. She comes across as very disenguous
