And always wear a tie (or a cravat) and a pocket square, as it gives you the chance to add texture, pattern and colour to your outfit. By changing ties and pocket squares you get the opportunity to see the same jacket as new time and again.

Ties and pocket squares are a cheap upgrade. Especially if you buy preowned (ebay, marketplace, chaity shops, etc)

OK 😀 So let’s talk “culture.” Much of what you say is true. I live in Hawaii. And in Hawaii, people from the mainland do not set standards for a gentleman in Hawaii. Yes, a well made bright white dress shirt/ rolled up sleeves with solid blue or pink shorts exudes class and wealth. But I noticed one of your models wears what appears to be an understated Aloha shirt: Very appropriate and conveys a recognition of respect for Hawaiian culture. Long white pants - YES IN WINTER MONTHS - also conveys style and “old money “ especially for the young man. Let me put this another way. The Hawaii Consular Corp holds dinners and evening events at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. What would you wear, I wonder.? ?Here in Hawaii we don’t say “ciao;” it’s “Aloha.” Having moved here from Boston the topic in your video is one I have been examining here in the Islands. Actually, I find it quite fun crossing over to stylish Hawaiian. Would enjoy seeing a video across American culture societies. Remember. J.R. always wore a “proper “ cowboy hat to the office in the TV show “DALLAS!” Aloha 😎🏄🏼‍♂️🇺🇸🇺🇸🏖️🍍🍍
