YG never touched BP's money. All the charges against YG were dropped, since they just ran on conjecture w/o any proof or evidence. However, YG stepped down since he thought him remaining in the company would further dmg the company's reputation. Lisa's manager didnt steal 10 million. it's roughly around $820,000 for an investment property that never existed. LISA TOLD YG, and YG did an internal investigation and reported the incident to the police. the ex manager HAS TO PAY LISA BACK but he wont serve jail time, since lisa wants to settle this amicably. while she didnt press charges, the police are involved so he is forced to pay her back, otherwise he would face jail time. they details of their case is not released. He was lisa's manager since her debut. Managers and idols have a really close relationship since they become their body guards, secretary, travel companion. it's a very demanding job. We dont know the details of how this happened, but what we do know is that only LISA HAS CONTROL OF HER FINANCES. bECAUSE this was a secret deal btwn lisa and her manager. YG had no clue this was even going on till LISA told them what happened. then they took appropriate action. they can travel in their personal times. - lisa goes to thailand to visit her family, rose to australia, etc. the travel restriction does not apply to BP. I can't understand why he don't credit them on the songs they wrote but he let his boygroups produce and write their own songs (look at the misogyny). YG is actually known for giving their artists a pretty good percentage of the money they make, they have the best company to artist money ratios out of the Big 3 companies. Also, over time these rules are relaxed, some are only really relevant for the first few years after debut. When it comes to money, yg is the best company in korea in tht category. The biggest percentage of the profits goes to the ARTIST. Tht's why mostly all yg artists are among the richest idols in Korea. As for all these rules, as jennie said once they are allowed to drink ir drive or go clubbing or dating if they ask for permission, and obviously they do give them permission (as we seen jennie clubbing, drinking and dating) These rules were made because yg lost alot of stocks in the past because of scandals that started when his artists drank and drove or went clubbing or did drugs, tht's why they made these rules because they're always under the microscope by koreans... And koreans tend to hate on the girl more than the boy when it comes to scandals, this is why yg is more strict with blackpink. Also Jennie did not write the lyrics of stay nor solo, because yg always credits the artists when they contribute to the song so it's all just bs. Honestly the only negative thing abt this company is the lack of comebacks, but they explained it once that they prepare hard for the girls' comebacks that's why it takes a while. Nd it's always produced by teddy (who is only a human and is already working with too many artists so give him a break)

Actually its the opposite the company is alot free than any other label and was the first to let its artists produce their own music. But then the second gen artists got in some scandals. So they made strict rules with the intention of protecting their artists rep and those rules only last for first 2-3 years of their debut.
