I'm with you Priscilla. I'm terrified of the dentist and have anxiety and sometimes panic attacks over having to go. For me it's the whole experience. The smell of the office. The sounds of the office. The chair, dentist, locals, and drilling. Hate it all. It even gets to the point where I have cancelled dentist appts numerous times. Sending love.

I have ADHD and it really makes going to the dentist 100 times worse!!! The smell, the noise, the drill, etc. It's got to the point where I won't let them do any procedures. I have to be referred to be sedated. I live in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 wales UK.

It’s crazy how so many people fear the dentist so we avoid it as much as we can and then end up in serious situations that cause us to have dental surgery or teeth removals. 😢 feel for you cila! But glad it’s over for ya.

Unfortunately she’s just one of those people that has consistent teeth issues. One of her good friends works at her dentist office so that helps to calm the nerves. She gets regular cleanings but still has issues

I have ASD as well as a dread of dentists. I found a dentist that offers IV sedation. That is the absolute best invention ever! Unfortunately, my insurance doesn't cover it, and it is expensive. But it is soo worth it.

I love Maverick. Wish my dogs were as chill as he is. I have 4 dogs and they are NOT like Maverick at all. Cilla, feel better soon. I used to hate going to the dentist but I finally got over that after I turned like 55. Now I'm more than 10 years past that. I think it's because I don't have much work that needs to be done any more. I love the vlog of Abbie getting into the river. I wonder if she remembers that. I kind of miss seeing Isaiah and Summer doing so many things together with Abbie. Hey Asa, teach me how to take photos with a digital camera. I loved using the old style cameras but I don't have any place close to get them developed around here. Love you all.

When I got my teeth cleaned in July, I had to get general anesthesia because of my severe anxiety! I also have autism and sensory processing disorder. There’s a dental clinic here in Chicago that caters exclusively to people with special needs. It only took 2 hours to clean my teeth and do X-rays.

The aggregation of marginal gains Tour de Frances story is a favorite that I like to use in therapy to motivate my patients. Also, my husband and I take pictures together when we are exploring. Then at the end of the day we chill and checkout each other's pics. It is neat to see how we uniquely capture the world around us even though we are sharing the same experience walking/kayaking side by side. Our goal this coming year is to take a local couples photography class. Because we have been using our phones (I know film, but not digital), what camera do you use or would suggest? Also, Priscilla has my total empathy. Having dental work done is the worst.

I love that story! I first heard it in Atomic Habits. That’s a great idea and probably great bonding time. I may steal that. I think my favorite camera for stills is the Sony A7C II. I don’t have one but Isaiah does. It’s compact and there’s a HUGE selection of FE mount lenses from third party manufacturers that are incredible for the price. I shoot Panasonic LUMIX cameras though. I make mine do double duty with video and photo so they have to be hybrid cameras that lean more towards video.

Oh Priscilla girl I feel your pain! I had to have a full oral reconstruction surgery 12/22. And as a former medic I can tell you don’t wait until you are hurting to take your meds, stay on a schedule and on top of the pain. You will do so much better. And ice is your friend, 30 mins on 30 mins off, it will greatly help to reduce swelling and help keep it at bay. I blew up like a beach ball after my surgery and if it wasn’t for the hubby switching my ice packs for me and helping me keep my med schedule I don’t know if I could have survived. I honestly don’t know he survived without sleep for a solid week. BUT you got this girlie and we are out here rooting for you to pull through awesomely!
