They need the whole clip of how this was set up. So you have two perspectives here: Edgar is listening to Nino talk like a crooked politician. The tailoring and round-abouting of Nino's words to Edgar is a sign that seems like he is full of BS. Edgar does not understand the political responsibilities that nino has and sees him primarily as another form of crook trying to play nice. Nino doesn't see an issue with anything that Edgar is doing other than he seems crazy. He has an issue with the possibility of it destroying his entire campaign by Edgar's use of Tilly naivete. He is trying to make peace while still supporting the very thing that he believes in. Cops don't care about people like the criminals actually do. Tilly's exaggeration, Nino's curtailing, Edgar's misunderstanding, and the Flippy save has led to the biggest war in NP.

I think the issue is Tilly nor Edgar understand the gravity of the arc they are involved in/creating. Edgar obviously knows more, but doesn’t know how corruptly the Marshalls/bcso have been going after Nino for farting up wind. He’s never been gone after, idk if he’s ever even been taken to court or the subject of an investigation. How about he gets investigated and has 5 months of 14 hrs a day 6 days a week ripped from him and then say boohoo. Edgar is great, but like Coyote, he’s getting in over his head and dragging people with him
