The Olympic Stadium needs attention.

I can't believe this is a road built less than 5 years ago. Why all the noise about concrete basement? The airport road is nothing to write home about, full of portholes while roads built by Sullivan Chime in Enugu 16 years qgo is still very fine, even though it's not concrete basement. While is Ebonyi in a rush to build an Olympic Stadium in the first place, this kind of project brings little or no ROI. It's a waste of resources. Money that could have been used to boost agro industries in the State. The contruction is very poor, is this how gates to standard Olympic stadium should be? This is laghable! It shows fhat the Engineers are inexperienced.

The trees planted by the previous regime are now grown, giving this city a beautiful look. Please let the present regime continue with tree planting, don't stop. The Abakaliki tree planting model ought to be replicated in all Igbo cities.

Nwifuru is proving to be lazy. All he has been doing is sharing money and modifying what infrastructure Umahi had already completed. Instead of him to build more roads he has gone around coating all of Umahi's concrete pavement roads with low quality asphalt causing many potholes to appear. Instead of finishing this Olympic stadium which Umahi took to about 70% completion, he abandons it and shares cash instead. I am not impressed, although I appreciate Umahi was always going to be a tough act to follow.

When concrete roads are badly done, they end up worst than defective asphalt. The roght mix is always vital at all times.

Abakaliki is more spacious and well planned compared to lot of other cities. The govt should build a boulevard on that sperando road , plus plant more trees and a defined green area or garden park near that Hausa quarters flyover

Boost what? You're joking. If the gate can be this terrible, I wonder how the inside will be. Do you know how much that have been wasted on this Stadium? If una like, play 1000 Super Eagles matches in this stadium you can't make the money that has been spent. You will still need a lot of money to maintain the stadium in the nearest future. Lack of maintenance is the reason Lagos and Abuja Stadia were abandoned and dilapidated.
