I am getting acne since I was 16 or 17.... once I was filling a form for some college documents which required some facial details for identification of the candidate and one of my friend just said me "why don't you write that you have got so many pimples on your face, easiest way to identify." That was something really brutal somebody ever said to me. People see us as if it is all our fault that we have pimples as if we want it.

I had so much pimple on my face. ..but thanks to my women's college there were no boys to feel embarrass. ..but still suffered for 6 years of continously popping of pimples. .tried every possible doctor and cream but nothing was helpful. .but one of my doctor suggested me some tips and that really worked. ..like. ..avoid dandruff if you have. ..make sure your digestive system is good and get your stomach empty every day. .do not use cold water for face wash. .always use lukewarm neem water to wash face maximum 3 times not more than that. .. and if any new pimple comes just apply delriva bpo gel at night. .

So relatable yaar. I had clear skin till twelfth standard. Like commercial Walla clear. But now i have hundreds of pimples and acne on my face. I don't care about how i look. But my neighbors sure do 😒😒 Oh and everyone who suffers from low confidence. Just ignore stupid people who are low enough to even pay attention to anyone's pimples. You are beautiful if you don't do it. Pimples don't matter. It's a part of life. Just chill. Don't base your confidence in something as menial as pimples.

After battling for acne for almost 10 years, (now 24) The key is to go natural. 1) stop washing your face. Just rinse with water. 2) Oil is good for your skin. Dont strip oil by excessive facewash use, just blot oil by blotting paper. I use basicare. 3) Shampooing your hair: keep your scalp oil free. Fo not let hair strands touch cheek and forehead. 4) No facewash so no moisturizer. Your skin is a living organ, doesnt need your stupid help. 5) This new product will change my life: Tonics, toners, serums, Nope. 6) Sweat it out. Do anything that makes your face red and sweaty. Circulation heals scars and marks. 7) no makeup. Also no makeup brushes. 8) vitamin C in your diet. Don't apply on face, just eat right you stupid girl. 9) Hand hygiene. No touching face esp after touching hair! 10) Jaw acne? Rinse area around mouth after eating and stop using those lip balms for a while as that is transferable. Extra bonus: Check out mirror only once a day. Sometimes the light over mirrors is so unflattering and our skin looks 10 tumes worse and then we over react. And did you drink water today?

I kept searching in the comments but no one has really mentioned some things that really push people down to their lowest who struggle with acne. It feels like a far fetched dream to go anywhere without a mask, as if pulling down the mask, would expose you in front of the person. As if your acne will be just waiting to ruin your day, your week, your month. Going out in broad day light, feeling the natural light fall on your skin, feels devastating. As if your acne is sitting there on the face to say hi to everyone who looks at you. Which is why I personally usually prefer going out in the night. Going out in broad day light even in my balcony used to frighten me. I hurriedly rush inside. Watching other people with crystal clear skin, with their friends, in groups, sitting, laughing, eating, cracking jokes, making plans is one of the parts where you again, feel like a loser. It feels like you can never have that life. As if it was never meant to be yours. Like you did not ever deserve to live that “teenage” life. And let’s say you have been having good days with your skin. Like a nice week. Where your spots seem to be fading away. And you feel like “oh okay. Maybe from monday I can have a good start for the week. My skin looks fine. I will make some plans maybe”. Sunday night, you see a boil right there below the right eye above the cheeks. Waiting for you to start your week. It’s devastating and frustrating to levels I cannot describe. It feels like that one week where you thought you were doing good, was given to you by god by mistake. Like it was a mistake. It is devastating. These things. They put you in a cage of constant self doubt and negative body image. Hurts more during festive seasons. Where you see people going out, looking good dressing good, with their partners, and you, sitting in your room with your book, your laptop and a slow song.

@@TekZee one day they will. They cannot be there forever. I don’t know if this will help or not, but I remember hundreds of days where I thought that I would never get better. That my skin would never get better. And better as in, I don’t even mean crystal clear skin like celebrities. Better as in, better version of itself. Believe me, your acne will settle down. And there will be good days. I have had so many such days where I feel like you. Where I feel like the pimples will never ever go away. One week of that. Sometimes even more. But eventually they will get better.

@@Saritay02 use a salicylic acid based face wash ..here's another tip: freeze some rice water and then massage your face using these rice water cubes.. Leave it for atleast 30 mins..hopefully you'll feel difference... If nothing works, and you get more acne visit a dermatologist, he'll prescribe you some tablets for controlling oil on your face.. But that takes at least 2 months
