As a kid, i had a friend who lived across the street from my aunt and uncle that i always visited after Christmas. Her family would chop up their christmas tree and use the branches and needles as kindling, and made little fire starters from pine needles wrapped in cheese cloth !

I've loved your vlogs for years Tom, all the way back to when you first moved into your LA apartment. I have been going to the gym for years but prior to going I shattered my shoulder and collarbone in an accident and always struggled with overhead exercises especially that involved the use of my shoulders. But joining the gym and prioritising strength and mobility in my shoulders has been a lifesaver, they still click and hurt occassionally but they're so much better than they were! Good Luck on this new journey, I look forward to seeing it!

After a bike accident 8 years ago my shoulder has always given me troubles but frequent exercise has also kept my shoulder pain free, aslong as you listen to your body and ease off when it starts to hurt and not puah through your shoulder will feel better with the clicking

This video is helping me out quite a lot to see how happy you are with your family my grandmother has had dementia for quite some time now and she just fell yesterday and fractured her hip and they're not able to do surgery on it to repair it so she's going to be in full-time hospice care until her passing which could be a couple days she is my last grandparent out of my mom and dad's side of the family so it's quite surreal and I haven't quite route to my head around it yet Thank you for always putting up some nice wholesome content that people can escape to when they really need it much love to you and your family and keep little Alfie close

Hey Tom I also had a bad clicking shoulder a few months ago and found the physio wasn’t doing much to improve it, but since going back to the gym and doing free weights my pain and discomfort has pretty much entirely gone away. So you’re making a good move by starting mate, hopefully it does the trick for you also!

Absolutely loving the vlogs Tom!!! They've been so entertaining for me throughout my dark period. And on a personal note about the gym, I suffer from a shoulder that clicks and likes to dislocate sometimes, but going to the gym on a regular basis has actually improved my shoulder a lot and it doesn't click or pop out of place as often. It gets a lot better over a few months of going 😄 It honestly feels miles better. So I'd say go for it and absolutely smash it!!! Once you see results its almost addictive and like i said (or typed) the shoulder pain gets a lot more bearable and not as noticeable over time once your strength increases 😁😁 Keep up the great work man!!! Also Alfie is so cute he could replace the babies on all the brandings you see on baby packaging stuff, he has the brightest smile 🥺❤

Fitness goals sounds great use Alfie as your “WHY”. My advice is to just do an activity you enjoy so it doesn’t feel like a chore. Getting your pool fixed to swim or riding with your dad again would be amazing! Good luck with it. If you’re healthy your family will benefit in every way! 👌

I did the tendon in my shoulder and had a similar pain to what you describe. Something that helped me was doing low weight high rep exercises around the area of where the pain is and the muscles will hopefully strengthen the painful area. Hope this helps 👍🏽👍🏽

I started the gym more than a year ago as programming isn't the best for physical activity. You'll see pretty quick growth in the first months but it will slow, so expect it before you hate it. It really is the best thing I've done as a young 21 year old and has seriously helped me stay healthy and most importantly, happy. You can have a healthy mind without a healthy body and you'll notice the difference immediately. Good Luck
