Couple thoughts: 1 - The whole reason that Aztecs used obsidian is because they were pre-iron, pre-bronze age. They'd discovered metalworking only as far as gold and silver. So the best "sword"-like thing they could make were cricket bats lined with sharp rocks. It's a different set of challenges, is some actually interesting stuff going on with taking stone-age tech way farther than you'd otherwise expect it to be taken. Aztecs were like the steam-punk of the 1500s. 2 - Once again, making something super heavy just makes it super awkward to try to swing. Is like, the 8th time you guys have built a weapon that is less weapon-like than a chunk of tree branch would be. 3 - Edge-light polycarb looked superb. Really nice highlights.

This is incredible! I didn’t understand how much work the crew does behind the scenes. Great work everyone!

Each video takes hundreds of hours to produce! And that's across multiple people =)

I was literally thinking the same thing. I have a whole new appreciation of the crew now. And it's always nice to see new faces in the shop. That means that one day James you might need a bigger facility to accommodate everyone lol. But seriously great job everyone. I love the behind the scenes stuff.

For god's sake don't do anything more using obsidian. It's shards are very very sharp and dangerous specially the tiniest ones, you guys were putting your hands close to the "blade" too often and that could lead to some deep cuts. If any of them were to shatter and fly into someone it could be super dangerous,

Well I see James wearing gloves; I'm sure for that exact reason. Not to mention, there is always a calculated risk to produce what they intend, and I'm sure they put a lot of research into the project before they decide materials and what level of risk is okay. This is not to say that I think they always make the right judgement calls (who does?) just that they are aware of their choices and do not need to be told. I think concern for their well-being is good, but assuming they have no idea of what they're working with is insulting and not constructive.
