Tinder is just radioactive waste. I'm a cis gay guy and I've never touched it. Also, I propose tattooed make up for the basics so there's less pressure when you need to get made up quickly (eye/lipliner, lips, etc.). If I were a woman, I would totally do that, mainly because I'm lazy.

I've often thought about permanent makeup, but I like to change it up too much. In my opinion, that's really only an option for women who have an iconic look that they sport every day. Hey sweetheart, I've just stumbled across your channel, and i just want to give you a hug through the internet and give you more confidence in yourself! I'm not sure how old you are, but i suspect much, much younger than me. I'm 40 and most of my trans friends went through a lot of the stuff you're going through, but now, further through their transitions and spending more time getting comfortable with themselves, they are so much freer and less restricted with these self imposed rules youre dealing with. I really do hope your surgery goes well and brings you that confidence and freedom you deserve. You'll find most people really arent trying to clock you everywhere you go, and the postman doesn't care about your make up! People are so wrapped up in their own shit, they don't notice the things you think are so massively obvious! I promise! I understand how its terrifying if you think theres going to be some transphobic asshole that could hurt you though. That's frightening and I'm sorry if society makes you feel that way. I'm waffling on, but from this pansexual, cis ally, it does get better. I've seen my friends gain confidence and I hope you get to blossom the same way they have. 🩷

Swimming is one step away from being naked, few successfully make that cut. As a transman I have no future where that will be possible besides alone or with my wife, and even then id have to be convinced no one could discover us... The make up thing is perfectly understandable, Dysphoria is a bitch of a condition, we suffer it, it does not let us present half heartedly, or as some half trans mutant. it demands 100% commitment to transition. its normal for our type. And travel is a bitch, Me and many transman I know have all had trouble getting through security at airports, dont travel with packers is a ftm only problem but just dont take them, plan to buy them when you get to your locations. We all have stories of being stopped and being treated weirdly to find out they think your packer is a weapon, then when they find out your a biological woman they tend to shout it so everyone can hear them, then you get patted down by some woman in a little room. I can still remember all the faces of the first time I went through the airport, as the guy yelled out to a woman agent `this is female` pointing at me, i looked around and there was 100 faces looking at me like WFT..

Hiya Malibu. I’m a mtf transwoman too, fast approaching 60. I’m from the U.K. and hopefully I’m being refered for surgery next year too. The things I avoid are very similar to yours. I tend to wear as little make up as possible (day to day) and for my job too. I’m a female tram 🚊 driver. I always remover it before bed so as to give my skin time to heal and moisturise. I’m a stickler for skin and body care, and have routines to maintain a healthy body. But like you, even though I wear very little I cannot go out or do my job without any makeup on at all, that would be so wrong. 😑 I do go rock climbing but because of the issues you highlighted I wear a top harness to avoid lower regions shaping into a tight triangle shape. The “trans” label I’ve dropped completely so as to maximise my passing and blending in, totally as a woman. Most people in the streets or my work colleagues have totally accepted me and my female identity. I have nothing from my previous persona left, with anyone to share or identify me with. It’s a great feeling to just simply be me as I am affirmed to be inside just gliding through life happy. Thank you for sharing your video xx 😙

Thanks for sharing your experience! About makeup, I understand your struggle, I feel the same, but also what I understood is that makeup is a kinda addiction, and the more you use it the more you are dysphoric about your face without it. So even though I adore how I look using makeup, I push myself to use a minimal version of it when I go to work or just outside for the supermarket or something and try to avoid it if I stay home (still can not go somewhere completely without it, but I'm ok to open the door at least). A weekend without makeup helps restore my feeling that my face is not that bad. I would say it's a general problem of women who use makeup a lot, not only transwomen. Also funny, is that I never thought to use a choker to hide Adam's apple, I just use it occasionally if it fits my dress. I would say about my recent experience on Tinder (at least where I live in France) that if you want to find sex it's like super easy with Tinder. I am always in the 99+ likes category, even I explicitly mention my trans-pre-op status. But if you want a relationship, Tinder is crap, not only for us but for everybody

I used to be makeup focused, but then, I started to reduce the amount of products I used. I generally don't have the time, in the morning, to do a full face look. so I started experimenting and developing a day look. and it's not good for the skin if you don't wash it off and clense the pours. the area of skin around the eyes is very sensitive and fragile, you have to take very good care of it girl....! one very good tip would be to get yourself a very good moisturiser. add a deep clenser as part of your night time routine, and a lighter one into your morning routine. it can act as a great base for your makeup, or even a substitute for cosmetics, if your home.

I can def relate to a lot of this, but I’ve found some solutions for a lot of these. Mask helps if I can’t wear makeup…it’s not perfect but it helps, especially if I combine it with a long but casual dress. I haven’t solved the swimming thing yet, but next year I will probably start wearing swimsuits with the skirt looking thing on it. I don’t like shorts or pants either, but recently I started wearing my wife’s short shorts on chill days and …. It’s not too bad. Sometimes I can stomach black tight jeans but I prefer leggings. I like chokers, but I actually like showing off my transness. I am feminine presenting enough that I don’t get mis gendered very often so I like being out and open about being trans, maybe some egg will see me and feel better about being themselves. I’m not good at rock climbing and don’t enjoy it so I have no idea how I’d feel about it. I like traveling, I figure it out, but yea it’s a thing. It depends on the day for me with pics. I don’t have a dead name really, I have a preferred name. Something I avoid, showing my legs without shaving and moisturizing . I know some other girls don’t mind and I respect them for it but if I see a single hair on my legs, I’m wearing leggings. Periodt.
