Things I Forgot to Bring on My Camping Trip Last weekend, I went camping with John, and as usual, I forgot to bring several important items. The first thing I realized I left at home was my soap. I wanted to wash my hands, but then I remembered I had left the soap in the shower. It was a bit frustrating because I always seem to forget something every time we go camping. Then, while trying to fix my messy hair, I noticed my brush was missing. I thought hard and realized it was still by the mirror in my bedroom. John remembered seeing it there the day before, which made me feel even more forgetful. Not long after, it started to rain, and I looked for my umbrella, only to find that I didn’t have it with me. I had used it over the weekend when I went shopping, and instead of putting it back on the balcony where I usually keep it, I left it in the bath to dry. I was disappointed, but John reassured me that the rain would stop soon. That night, when it got dark, I needed my torch. But of course, I had left it on top of the fridge at home. John had also seen it there but forgot to bring it along. Luckily, he suggested that we could buy another one nearby. The next day, I felt like writing in my diary, only to remember that I had left it on the kitchen table. I was using it before our trip, and when someone called, I forgot to put it back in my bag. Finally, I thought I could at least enjoy some chocolate I had packed. But to my disappointment, I left that next to the cooker at home. After all these forgotten items, John joked that maybe next time we should camp in our garden, so I wouldn’t have to worry about leaving things behind!
