My biggest tip is DON'T PULL ON ON A CHARACTER BANNER FOR A 4 STAR! I've made that mistake. 4 stars don't have pity, you can pull on a banner and waste all your wishes and not get a single one. 4 stars rotate on banners all the time, wait until your character is on a banner where you actually want the 5 star so you don't get disappointed.

@@imaadfaki5585 You usually get a 5 star at 74 pity but your guaranteed a five star if you have 90 pity. You can also get a 5star very early like your first pull bits it’s a very small chance.

In Genshin, there’s not really much leeway in what you can do to save up resources. It literally just boils down to “saving = not spending”. To build up some mora, you need to put some restrictions on your use of mora. No “routines” will help you if you’re constantly leaking mora for spontaneous crafting, weap refining, artifact rolling, leveling, buying rice, etc. Try to be really strict with your expenses and only allow mora to come in but not come out for like two weeks (so no upgrading anything unless absolutely, direly necessary). Couple that with doing at least 2 mora ley lines every day + all requests and bounties each week, and you’ll be surprised by results. Same with any other resource. Notice how her account barely has any characters actually heavily invested into. She has a lot of stuff because she never spends any

I think for new players the best tip for story quests is to do them when they make sense (some are locked based on the archon quests as well.) Like after you finish the Mondstadt archon quest it's a good time to do Jean's or Diluc's quest. You also don't need to rush them.

The main thing I messed up early game was that I never really used Elemental reactions. Which I wish I did once I figured it out on Albedo's event where you had to defeat the Special Cryosvine in a certain time limit. I also occasionally ran out of books to level up because my friend was like "GO Use it all level up your characters" Now I use my books to level exp up to the final bit of the xp bar and manually level up the rest. I have tons of books now in stock.

I guess the 1 suggestion I would make for new players is DON'T WISH! Seriously, its super easy to get bogged down in trying to farm for characters, weapons, artifacts etc. The worst thing you can do as a new player is put too much emphasis on trying to pull characters and burn yourself out farming primos and mats. Burnout will kill your enjoyment of the game and its number 1 reason people give for quitting Genshin. Once you have played through some of the story, opened up other regions of the map and have a better idea of how the game plays/ what you want to do; then you can start wishing for characters. At that point you should have enough experience in the game to know how to farm efficiently and you can plan your account more diligently. Suggestion 2 is build Xiangling.

So go through the entire game with only the starter characters that really aren’t all that fun and watch as your favorite characters come and go. Here’s your advice but a version that makes a little more sense. Wish all you want, if you want the character try and get them. Just don’t worry about building them until at least you’re done with Liyue. Pick a couple characters to focus on to get you through the game until you can start building characters. This is exactly what I did. I chose a team of 4, built them then saved everything but I still wished on every character and got them all. My inventory looks exactly like hers. I have 3500-4500 Exp books, almost 30mil mora, plenty of drops and enhancement ore. After I finished Inazuma I started building each character one by one. I’m at a point where every 5 star is built, has their sig weapon maxed, their preferred artifact with great stats and better than a 1:2 Crit ratio. I did all this without every refreshing resin and very rarely using fragile resin, I still have around 100 fragile resin just sitting there because I don’t really need them. TLDR, wishing isn’t the problem. Just focus on 4 until your at a point in the game where you can spend most of your time on farming instead of story and clearing the region.

I'm on the same boat as you and also wouldn't start a new account. I started 2 months ago and finished the archon quest after 2 weeks of playing. Looking back on it the only reason why I played it that much was because of the story. Now that I know what happens, doing the quests was actually one of the most tedious things I did (I read all the dialogues) but was able to look past it since I was curious as to what was going to happen. Repeating them again would really burn me out as the first time experience would be gone. Now I'm AR 53 and just vibing. I'm thinking of following your lead and hoarding lots of materials since your inventory looks so nice and full. :D

While that might be true, yet for me though as a hoarder, I would advice you to use your resources for the character that you really like. My method is that the characters I will pull now revolves around this one character. Meaning that their kits works with my favorite character. It is never a harm to hoard your items but also remember that it is very rewarding if you finish 36 stars the abyss.

FOOD BUFF TIP: only one of each food buff can be used at a time for example, if two foods have the same icon, the most recent one you used will be the only only making your character stronger

Every domain has 2 types of artifact. Find one that drop both artifacts that can benefit you. The inazuma emblem/shimenawa one is very good combo since many characters use those artifacts, while the single element combo domain is not that good.

hoping someone reads this and can help me. I just recently started playing and have really been enjoying it. however through watching videos etc I totally fell in love with Raiden Shogun. I saw on google she was on banner in March but i wasnt playing back then. It's a waiting game until she comes back. Leakers usually confirm characters 1 or 2 version after the current one. You're in luck for Raiden though as it's been confirmed she will come in 2 versions (The second phase of 3.3)

I think there's ways to get more storage (on IOS), not so sure about android. As for PC, try emptying the trash and moving files you dont need onto a USB. (Clearing extra apps and cache on those apps for phones and tablets also work!)

Something I wish I had known before I started playing is addiction is common on my fathers side of my genes, I never met him so I didn't really figure this out until I was £300 into gambling on certain characters I'm just lucky I'm not addicted to alcohol, I definitely like alcohol, I'm just addicted to other stuff, monster and gambling in my silly little gacha game

Hi! I was scrolling through the comments and I noticed that no one replied to this one, so I thought I’d take some time to help you out! Here’s how to check your pity: 1. Click on the wish menu 2. Click the “history” button on the bottom left of the wish menu Now, there are three ways to count how much pity you have: Method One: Counting each wish individually While this method is the easiest, it can also be quite time consuming, seeing as you will need to count each wish individually across each of the tabs on the history chart in order to determine your pity. Method Two: Multiply by six With this method, you can easily keep track of your pity by counting out all of the tabs on the history banner and multiplying by six, since each tab has six of your previous wishes recorded on it. After you determine how many tabs you’ve filled and have multiplied that number by six, you can add any additional wishes to your total to figure out how much pity you’ve built since your last five-star. Method 3: Multiply by ten This method is my personal favorite, seeing as it is very easy and it saves a lot of time. First, you must remember that pity resets every time you get a five-star, (this also applies to every other method), so think of the last five-star you got as your starting point for when you count. Second, remember that every ten wishes you make guarantees you a 4-star, so you can count out the number of 4-stars you’ve obtained since your last 5-star and multiply that number by 10 to determine how much pity you’ve built. Then you can add on any additional wishes you’ve made to find out your total. I hope this helped! Edit: Sorry that it’s a bit long. I tried to shorten it as much as possible, but it’s a ton of information to cover, so I hope it makes sense.

Lol, I do agree! I’ve been saving saving my Primos and honestly seeing that I have 463 is quite liberating, it’s nice to know that I won’t be saving forever and soon I can do a 10 pull, some really nice people came and helped me in Dragonspine and I think I really needed the help, I went from 363 to 463 so I guess I just gained 100 primos, and I think I’m going to farm some more tonight before I go to bed and I might try to complete this dang quest that I literally couldn’t do the first time I tried 😭🥹
