Tip for the floor. KEEP A BAG OF TRASH LINERS IN YOUR SCRUB POCKETS. I cannot stress that enough. Just a roll of small garbage bag liners. I tuck mine in my lower left leg pocket.

Thank you so much for your Part 1 and here Part 2 - These are really great tips! I am late in the game of the CNA/Care Manager world. But here I am. I have been a housekeeping supervisor for many years within a company and within my past business. With that said., "Within the company" I am working for needed more Care Managers/CNA's and less Housekeeping. I decided to drop my title as HSK-Supervisor to become a Care Manager and earn a certificate as CNA. I have taken, Pr-tests after Pr-Tests and passed all. Now it's official. I am ready to achieve the real deal. For those reading this... It's NEVER to late to, "STEP UP, MAKE CHANGE, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE!"

I was not expecting such a high quality synopsis FOR FREE on you tube - after watching, listening and taking notes, it feels like I should pay you some tuition. Like this was one of those 'Mater Classes' This video was very comprehensive but not overwhelming at all! You are a gifted teacher. I'm starting my new CNA job in 7 days and I cannot express how helpful this was! Well done! Brilliant! Thank you so very much!

Thank you so much for this video! I was offered a position to be a Patient Care Assistant, but I think that CNAs play a similar role. I’m nervous to accept because it’s a night shift position, and I’ve never worked in a hospital before!
@nursingunveiled4906 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! Yes, the roles are pretty similar. Night shift may have its benefits if you have started already as majority of the patients should be asleep at certain hours. 😜 A challenge is definitely trying to last through the night and fight sleepiness and fatigue.

Thank you so much for this video. I have one last day of training before I’m on the floor by myself and I’m so nervous and feel unprepared bc my hospital is so short staffed the training has not been informative at all since everyone is so busy and since this is my first hospital job I feel so lost still! This has helped a lot thank you so much

I thought CNA's help nurses? But it seems like CNAs do the Nurses jobs... what do Nurses do this whole time?
@nursingunveiled4906 Жыл бұрын
It should be a team work effort. ☺ Nurses have tasks that are outside of CNA scope of practice, but that does not mean nurses only perform work that is outside of CNA scope of practice.
