great vid! I have my own style, but that style doesn't suit my needs, diversification is somewhat a necessity, people think I'm crazy, but I'm in the process of learning 2d, 3d, mocap, music, sound and all the tech and theory that comes along with that. maybe i am overreaching, but only one way to find out. I believe one should at least learn the fundamentals of every platform to better understand your specialty.
